Forgive my ignorance, but wouldnt it just be easier to put temporary stands within the rugby stadium.Ideal to get into plenty of transport, shops pubs.

Reckon the council would welcome the club to the Rugby stadium with open arms?

Couldn't they just stick temporary stands up at Ryton? They own the land & wouldn't take much effort, plus it's in Cov but not under City Council's ruling?

Exactly, & turning Ryton into a small stadium is very possible over 3 years, temporary stands etc

It isn't possible, it'd need planning permission.

That could be granted over next 3 years? Cov is no longer a prem club, it's now a third division one with tin pot players, soon to be in a tin pot stadium??

If they couldn;t get permission for housing, why would they get it for a stadium?
