Sounds like Hoffco are lined up to be the councils puppet, and therefore Wasps puppet, we all want SISU out but I do worry what kind of existence we would have under Hoffco.

The council have done everything in their power to make the Wasps project work including footing the bill for failed Ricoh concerts, they are running out of ways to prop up the failing egg chasers so they are doing all they can to make CCFC's existence under SISU in the city impossible.

They are starting to look really desperate now, even more reason for SISU to starve Wasps & the council.

Hoffco is very good.

HOW can the Council get involved with who owns a commercial organisation? It is immoral, unethical, and probably illegal!!!

I’m sure that they are operating outside the guidelines of what a council can and can’t do. Ombudsman will surely have to look Into them.

So if Hoff can do a deal while the legals are still going the legals aren’t an issue preventing a deal being done.

No reason for Wasps not to be straight back to the table to negotiate then.

They really aren’t intelligent enough to consider the knock on impact of things they say are they?

There’s probably a few people who should be feeling a bit sheepish given how they insisted the council, Wasps and trust weren’t trying to force ownership change.

Like has been said many times before if we could all see it happening I'm sure sisu could and have sorted plans to avoid any problems coming back to them.

It seems there are a few people here who would be more delighted to see SISU actually win in court than our club stay in Coventry.

Do you actually even believe that statement yourself?

I think if anything it’s the reverse.

I get the feeling Hoffman has a deal lined up for 50% investment in the Ricoh.

Giving up future income like he’s suggested and Ryton - is it possible that he plans for a joint venture with the ground and training facilities?

He might as well light a bonfire of £50 notes in the middle of the Ricoh pitch than get into bed with Wasps, the nature of the bond means they're in a far worse position debt wise than ACL ever was

The letter really is infuriating.

If only CCC, SBT, Wasps and whoever else, put this much effort into rectifying the situation with SISU rather than this increasingly obvious collusion we might actually have got somewhere.

Unless they actually get relegated they will have substantial guaranteed future income from the RFU. The debts will be extended out. I'd love it if they folded but a lot of the clubs are running close to the wire. TV deals will prop them up too. There is talk of them voting to abolish relegation. We could be waiting forever !

No it's all a conspiracy. It explains why some people have been acting so desperate.

As said, they are all sleep walking into a Hoffman paradise but what if it backfires?

They’ve got £19m coming in from the league but that barely covers 2 years losses. They’re £60m in debt and have £35m bond to pay back. Losing money hand over fist. Dwindling attendances. Looking likely they won’t be in the champions cup and the CVC deal means income from the league is cut by 25% going forwards. They’re fucked.

I'm not bothered about the money they get from the RFU or the CVC deal, it doesn't really do much to help ACL whose assets is what the bondholders are secured against.

If Hoffman bought into that, he's taking on half of the £35m debt and half of a company that made a £1.6m loss last year before it even paid the interest to the bondholders. ACL also may have cashflow problems as its overdraft went from £3m to £5.5m year on year.

They can sell CCFC and it still wouldnt stop the Legals so dont see what CCC are on about! They are using CCFC to try and get SISU off their backs

Just a shame they’ll have to kill the club to do it. Still, whatever floats your boat.

I really wish there was a viable alternative to the ricoh. The council are desperate for the Coventry city to be wasps life support. What a monumental fuck up.

So, If Hoff bought CCFC, who would wasps be dealing with? Anyone that's made them an "interested party" in a court case?

Surely you can see the difference chief?

So the legals obviously aren't the real issue for them then it's club ownership

No, if you separate CCFC from the legals, then there is obviously no reason to not do a deal.

Be the same if SISU dropped the legals

Not saying it’s a great idea, just saying I get the feeling that’s the plan.

Eastwood coming out about 50% investment, the pleas to sell to Hoffman - might be getting 10 from 2+2
