You are correct. There has to be an end game. Building a new ground is the only option other than renting at the Ricoh again, so our focus has to be that, look fir sites and ask CCC could it go there if not why and if not where.What happens a year from now is the concerning part
You have to assume that Eastwood will not change his stance during the EU investigation, which will take approx 3 years.
SISU will have to make a declaration to the EFL in the next few months if they really are going to build a new ground. Then the EFL will support us playing at St Andrews, whilst the ground is built. If no commitment from SISU then expect the EFL to play tough.

Isn’t it just brinkmanship? They’ve got 2 months to change their mind and will be readily forgiven by most if they do. Whereas all the upheaval is on our end. And if we are forced out they get the Coventry hornets in with the backing of Hoffman’s little pot of gold, the CT and their PR machine to promote it. Or Sisu come back accepting worse conditions. There is no legal action ongoing and CCFC or SISU can't stop the EC investigation. That doesn't change if we're at the Ricoh or not. If anything kicking us out is more likely to mean further legal action.
What does change is they lose our rent and associated revenues from a minimum of 23 event days and in the region of 285K customers.

Its a very odd hill to die on when we have repeatedly been told there is zero chance of Wasps / CCC ever being found to be in the wrong. As much as it screws us over it hurts them as well.I just wonder if wasps insistence that we indemnify them Is because they are aware that the EC are far more likely to rule that the sale needs investigation and find it was legally as well as morally wrong.
