I'm not one for spreading stupid rumours about but ive been told that the other striker city could be bringing in is Nile ranger from Newcastle. As soon as I heard the name my face lit up he was a handful when Newcastle were down here and he stood out to me. If we get any kind of deal for this guy I think we will have a really strong league one team I hope this happens and it isn't just someone talking bs...*

I may have to quit supporting Sky Blues if this happens, I watched this c**t knock out 2 innocent passers outside my pub and near kill one of them, straight out of a kebab shop. I hate the guy, such a scumbag. (obviously wouldnt stop supporting the Sky Blues.. jus incase I get some stupid reply to that comment)

He'd be okay in our team, we haven't got any passers for him to hit.

Did you feel the same about King?

I'd be very surprised, he featured quite a bit for their first team last season, albeit from the bench, so I would expect they would loan him to a championship club at least, but surprised if they loan him at all.

That's fine then, at least not hypocritical.

My morale tends to go down when watching the football most seasons.

We very nearly signed him on loan in January so there could be something in this

Was he ever charged? I know they arrested him and banned him from the centre of Newcastle?

I think he actually turned us down in jan. He spent the latter months on loan with sheff weds where I think he did ok. Be surprised if there is any mileage in this.

He's a big lad and it's what we need that's why thorn is signing 6ft players cus it's a physical league I think ranger fits in thorns plans if he was going in for him

He didn't turn us down in January. Long story but was a serious balls up on CCFC's part that stopped it going through.

The daily mirror said us and Sheffield Wednesday are after him on loan. Could be some truth in this then

I dont believe this for one minute. You must be mistaken!! Our fine club have never ballsed up a transfer! Can you elaborate on what went wrong snozzer? I think ranger is a talented player but think if he was available he'd be destined for the championship.

I was working at Southampton when he was a player there. He got arrested for something and the club kept very, very quiet about it. He is a very talented player but an absolute idiot of the highest order. He thinks he's some sort of gangster and I really can't see him coming here. It would destroy any harmony that exsited in the dressing room. He was often ridiculed by the players at Southampton for being such a twat.

He could be sent to us on loan to teach him a lesson. If you don't sort your life out you will end up in a lower division. If we were after him and they wanted to loan him out then we would be good candidates. We are getting well known for looking after young players and playing them. They will have known a bit whilst looking at Bigi.

Wouldn't want him myself unless he got kicked out the same day he caused any disruption of any kind.

This article implies us and Wednesday are after him on a permanent deal which I definitely can't see.

Ehmmm from what I know Thorn sorted a deal, player wanted to come but took 48 hrs to contact a SISU official to sanction it. By which time the plug was pulled by Newcastle. This was pre Waggott being on the scene. One of many right royal you know what's!

If wednesday put a offer that's him gone I'll be very surprised if he chose us more money and a higher league. Looks like I weren't just told of silly old rumour after all

Sounds like balls again.

He was on loan at Barnsley until it was cut short due to a foot injury that ruled him out til March, then went on loan to Sheffield Wednesday when he'd got fit again in March.

Though the fact that he went to a League One club on loan may give todays rumour more credence.

Thank God for that, last thing we needed was another injured player.

If you're right, that says it all about the way SISU treated this club last season!
