Brian Kennedy has upped his bid to rescue Glasgow Rangers but it looks like this will fail, it has been said that Kennedy also has his eyes and has had for a while on a struggling Championship club. The Rangers situation ? Could that be what has delayed things here Amongst Kennedy's football contacts is Graeme Souness, who in turn is a long time pal of Richard Keys, and it is Richard Keys who introduced possible interested parties to Hoffman. One thing Keys has kept saying is these interested parties are genuine football people and British based.

If it happened Souness would run the football side of things, Too old now for manager, but i like him he has that nasty streak much needed in the murky world of pro-football.

Would think he's been out too long to be honest to consider coming back in. It's been 6 years since he's been in management.

This is all a presumption and probably Kennedy's not interested at all, just a few things seem to stack up including the sudden tapering off of any possible takeover which seemed to coincide with the Glasgow Rangers debacle and you can understand a move for Rangers would be more beneficial than one for us. As for Souness I am certain would never manage again but would certainly have someone lined up.

Wasn't Souness linked to us before the original take over talk (pre SISU?) and manhattan sports?

Yeah, I think he went on a tour of the Ricoh and Ryton but nothing came of it.

Souness made attempts to acquire Southampton and Coventry.

He has shown interest in investment of football clubs, Not management!!

Mr Souness is a very wealthy man.

Someone had better tell Fergie he is too old to manage Manure then.
