Our favourites rivals AV at home kicking off same time and up to 1500 bristol rovers fans and probably the same Bournemouth - Birmingham fans at new street travelling to not great distance to forest

Yeah, it's going to be carnage.

Or perhaps not, as usual.

I suspect Villa fans won’t be arsed about our presence. Not as though they share the ‘rivalry’ thing

Plenty of cockiness last weekend at Bolton, by the fake stone island brigade. So embarrassing to see. Pointing to the home fans then pointing outside. Thing is they look more like One Direction than the Green Street Elite.

It was a marker waiting for the joke about a police officer with three arms.

I meant in the train station. But it is embarrassing. They're more likely doing it for the selfie to put on social media to try (and fail) to look hard.

There were some old heads down the front of the stand down the left hand side at Bolton but the vast majority these days look like they'd shit themselves if it came on top.

Trouble these so called tough guys is they mouth off, wind their counterparts up and some innocent unsuspecting Cov fan gets a smack outside.

Unless your prepared to go toe to toe with there top lads don't give it large with a few thousand seats separating you or a line of police. It's embrassing.

Those that can fight normally do only when severely provoked. Those that can't have a nasty habit of giving it large and then trying to cuddle a police officer for protection.

Anyone who was walking back into town at Shrewsbury away last season may have seen one of the best examples of this!!

Sounds to me like a very effective way to deal with the self-styled Cov Youth. Shoot the little f...rs with automatic rifles and do us all a favour.

Massacre at New Street as the crowd cheers.

Nothing happend, i got the train about 12.30, got to new street just before 1. Some brum fans around having a drink before heading to Nottingham. Went to brewdog, saw some villa and cov fans, outside the pubs. No issues everyone just enjoying the sun and having a beer. No idea why anyone thinks it might kick off

A bit much. It's a rights of passage thing to a large extent. It's all mostly harmless and if they play up just tell them to pipe down. Groups of lads in their late teens getting a bit excitable on a day at the football, worse things happen at sea.

It's no different at any other club. Had to laugh at the Bristol Rovers yoof at the back of the away stand today. Although I did see possibly the best Affro outside of the Jackson family.

They are good at pulling and kicking the netting on the seats that separates the fans to be fair.

The game it could kick off for is Sunderland. They will bring a large mob intent on causing some trouble because of the events at the ricoh last season and up at the Stadium of Light.

Here are some links for those who have not seen what went on.....not withstanding the mindless and classless alleged throwing of sh!t, which I did not see any of to be fair.

Home game:

Away:

For those of you that weren't around in the 70s and 80s, all this posturing and cowering behind a row of 5 coppers and a couple of lardy stewards looks fuckin' laughable!
Just for the record, i do not want to see a return to those days (other than standing terraces), but most of these issues are a result of poor safety management and failure to design out crime. It's stuff you'd see in most high streets on any Friday or Saturday. Mostly involving women!

The trouble at the home game was in part caused by piss poor crowd management at the Ricoh.

That stupid barrier in the car park funnelling both sets of fans to a meeting point at the bottom. Row of police and stewards completely ignoring the two sets of fans having a go at each other over the barrier and a predictable result when the suddenly reached a part where there was no barrier. The response was then incredibly slow with police and stewards just standing by and watching the trouble unfold.

For the two games at St Andrews so far away fans have been warned they could be kept in the ground after the final whistle for crowd management. Would be surprised if they don't hold Sunderland fans back.
