I got the offer having not renewed either.(Birthday in May)
Has anybody actually phoned up and taken them up on it.
My cynicism tells me that it won't be as simple as phoning up and getting the deal on offer.

When I bought my 2016/17 season ticket I never expected to be waiting until August the next year to get something good out of it.

My birthday is in April. Knowing my luck I will get offered a free ticket during the closed season.

No I think you're right! I called them 4 or 5 times yesterday and have tried 3 or 4 again today and just ringing out to voicemail. A good publicity stunt to make out you're giving away something really good but don't actually be available to give any away!

I can't. At work until 5:30. Wouldn't get there until after the game has finished

It's in Nuneaton though. Christ knows what you'll be given for the meal.

Don't know if it's related to this, but had a number call that I didn't recognise so I ignored it, but Google tells me it's the Cov supporter liaison according to here - EFL Official Website - Supporter Liaison

It's either this or they heard about my hat-trick yesterday and want me to replace George Thomas

Mine is may and I.got one, I expect April will be the later games next season.

It works because people won't want to go alone so their friends / family will pay and that's how they hope to make it up.

If I get offered one I might go by myself just to spite them!

tbf, I'd probably have to pay people to go with me anyway...

Yep that's logical, loss lead on one to get other numbers.
Shouldn't be an issue re those with late birthdays as they'll probably release those around February given that they've included August.
IE it doesn't need to be your birthday on the matchdays available.

I've had two e-mails. I assume one for me and one for my son, both birthdays in August

Got mine and my sons tickets today.
Took me ages to get an answer on the phone! Must've called 20 times. I'd be well pissed off if I was actually paying for the tickets
then they had the cheek to charge me a £1 administration charge per ticket! #SisuOut #RipOff #OutOfOrder

No seriously though I asked the woman what the catch was. She said no catch, she explained that this is something the new CEO has rolled out and there will be more offers to follow for people who missed out on this one.

All the spaces for the two August games have gone for now, they are asking the Ricoh if they can accommodate more people, otherwise they will be offering September dates.

Me and gf have got some tickets - looked worth a shout and I think she is hoping she can meet Mcnulty if he is man of the match on the day

They said on the phone they were hoping to do more things like this throughout the season. Will report back on how it was if anyone interested in going in future!
