Some are going to be seriously annoyed those prices...

£25,000 a season for a 12 seater box.

2k per person or around £80 per game sounds about right for a box at the top end of the championship
Many were still paying league 2 prices
These should really be sold to companies and thats where they should be targeted not a group of mates who want a cheap option

Likewise £36 a game in Legends is cheap (Matchday prices were already up to £33 to sit in the corner)

I think they are priced properly

I think ultimately, and it's controversial, the boxes were full this season and full of fairly normal matchday going fans paying an extremely reasonable price.

Next season they'll be full of businesses happy to spend £25k and impressing their clients.

We need to move on from our old ways but I know there's many who will be furious about this.

Been sceptical of Doug - but you can’t say he’s not improving the commercial side of the club

People like him and Grennan need to start paying proper rates if they want a box.

Whilst I can understand people saying it's better commercially etc. If it prices people out of a box who were there last year, that is unfortunate, but more to the point, they've all been screwed out of the PL package and now have a much smaller scope of seats to choose from. It really isn't on.

I mean he could have decided to keep the boxes at League 2 prices and not relaid the pitch.

What would people prefer?

King is a businessman and football is a business. Corporate is for corporate and not 10 pissed-up mates doing coke in a private box every week.

?????? league 2 prices? You pay for what you get. The corporate experience overall is shite. you’re paying for a hotel room with 10-12 others. Not exactly royal ascot treatment.

Family friends pay £25k + VAT at West Brom for seasonal box 2 course meal and complimentary bar

can get a paid bar and 2 courses for 22.5k or 4 courses and complimentary bar for £27.5k

It was 8000 last year. Most clubs at this level charge anywhere from £15,000-£30,000.

Just about to say this - as I’ve been saying we’re acting like a club at the top end of this level now.

i would hope this extends to the transfer market

you pay for what you get. as I’ve said. The majority of boxes are hotel rooms. You don’t get any VIP treatment. No free bar, very little in food. If you offer VIP package you expect VIP treatment

8000 works out at £347 a match

That wouldn’t even get you a hospitality ticket at some grounds in this league

Who's to say they aren't improving it?

Most boxes at this level are enclosed or ancient stands like Burnley, Luton etc. You get a better view in an upper tier box than any ground at this level.

Which other grounds in our league? I've been in Sunderland, Luton, QPR & Reading and they are far worse.
