Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good solicitor, that offers conveyancing at a fair price?

Thanks.

Don't go for a random online .
Took nearly a year for a intrafamily transaction.
Pathetic.

Yeah DO NOT USE online ones.

I used one that the estate agent recommended, I went with them because the seller also did. They were shocking.

They also quote low so it sounds good, then things get added on over time.

I can personally recommend Band Hatton Button.

They were excellent with us.

Currently having a good experience with a firm in Solihull that I can recommend, although that might be out of your way a bit? £1500 fixed but that includes all searches etc. They’ve kept us updated, answered phone each time and responded to emails within 24 hours. We’re almost at exchange and will complete in June following an offer in March.

Field Overell were very good for us and have offices in Cov and Leamington. Think it cost us £1500 all in.

Thanks all for the replies. And thanks Brighton for the recommendation. Stay_up_skyblues could you send me the name of the one you used?

Any other suggestions very welcome, especially any local individuals in Cov & Warks. I used a firm last time, and found I was passed around a lot between team members.

Thanks.

Sarginsons were good for me, and appear to have done the family conveyancing for the past forty years with the same solicitor!

Is a few years since I bought my house now though, so wouldn't want to comment on current ability. I agree with not using online, and not using ones recommended by the estate agents.

Don’t use Deborah J Hoben, found them through the HOA online and had a nightmare.
