Jordan Clarke and Nathan Cameron have both been offered 3 year deals by Thorn personally.

Jeffers and Callum Wilson have both been offered 1 year contract extensions.

Cyrus Christie and Lee Burge have both been offered professional deals.

I thought Cameron had already signed one?

That's what I thought, but on CovMAD it said he'd been offered a new contract.

I think Clarke shows a lot of promise, has good pace which is really valuable and seems to have really come on over the course of this season. Good stuff.

It does him too! The interview posted on here last night with him was awesome though, an ambitious and determined young man who spoke very well and is passionate about his teamates. I like the bit where he talks about competing with Keogh, but equally how he was a great role model.

Good news that some of the guys who obliterated Villa's youth team 5-0 have signed up! I still think Jeffers deserves a chance next season and his loan at Cheltenham will have done him good. Turner learnt loads in his Peterboro loan back in the day.

Great news in general, although I am concerned that Cameron was meant to have signed ages ago.

Fair enougth, I suppose I should let him off since he's a RB but still I'm scared to watch the borough highlight's again.

Yeah, I can imagine he got a lot of banter in the changing room and training for that! He was gutted, but hey, he got up there-he really is a threat bombing on, and links superbly with King (who I think does wonders for his game) and McSheffrey, with Aron joining in. They weave some pretty triangles on that right wing when all fit. McSheffreys goal against Watford was all about us passing them dizzy before switching it to Bell on the other side. The way he talks about Keogh as an attacking RB: "Thats what I used to do-and I'm starting to get back to that now, I know I can do it, my confidence is coming back with this manager and I feel my fitness getting better every game."

V. encouraging. And prompts that age old question-just how much does not having a reserve team hurt us? Even a naturally fit young player like Clarke takes 5-6 games to reach 100% match fitness. It took Bell longer, and Baker always suffers from it when he comes in.

What about young Quirke? Anyone know if we plan on keeping him?
