Is it just me or are we actually starting (STARTING) to run ourselves like a proper football club?

* Two year contracts issued in the last window
* Not overloading the squad with loans
* Signing our promising youngsters to decent deals
* Improved social media presence
* Decent ticket deals (even if one of them was questionable)
* Engaging with local schools
* Organising non-matchday events to garner more revenue ('An Evening With....)

I know we're still a basket case of a club but I'm pleased that despite all the legal nonsense, they seem to be listening to feedback and are acting upon it.

All we need is promotion, continued good cup run with a good amount of revenue and confirmation of staying at the Ricoh for a few more years and then this season is a good'un.

Lot of positives there, but remember we are in division 4 so that is not exactly fantastic. If the plan was drop, sort out finances, go up & recover I can accept that, what I find hard to accept is bullshit & misdirection about the real strategy cause it really jars with my character.

Look, we are where we are. We could be in Div 4 and still have a squad full of loans, still be signing has been journeymen on one year deals. We could still be ignoring calls for better ticket pricing to entice the younger generation back. We could still massively lack in the fan communication piece.

My point is that although we’re in Div 4, we don’t. We seemed to have turned a corner on a number of aspects and it’s pleasing to see.

At the moment we are behaving like a football club(Joy cant be looking) long may it continue . On Shipley 1 of his assets is he takes a great in swinging free kick another is he always looks for a forward pass not sideways or backward, like others say Tom Bayliss next please
