Needs to show greater confidence and may flourish without having sideways sammy demanding the ball off him all the time.

People seem to forget he's only 18. Got to give players that age time to bed in.

I've said for a while he's got the best footballing brain I've seen in a midfielder of that age. The number of times he was the midfielder to drop and cover when a full back pushed forward was staggering.

You can always judge a player on how often they make the right decision. Thomas always looks calm and composed.

yes hes looked very lively and has been making some great forward passes too which we didnt see much from any player last year
