I thought he was exceptional today. Although he did nothing eye catching, he was always the player to drop back in to an open position. I noticed that every time that Christie pushed forwards, Thomas was always the one to fill the void he left until he got back in to position. He is also a very good passer of the ball.

He did his job very well & I look forward to see more of him in the future.

He was worse than bigi (Ipswich aside)

I just felt no-one was willing to take a risk with anything, and the midfield is our major weakness at the moment

I disagree - he may not be as comfortable on the ball in tight situations as bigi, but he was far more physical and held the shape better than bigi. In fact he made more tackles yesterday than bigi's made all season. He did tire in the last half an hour but that's more to do with the lack of football.

I like bigi, he's got a lot of quality. Him and Thomas are different types of players with different attributes, bit both are good passers.

I'm not slating bigi, and I'm not bigging up Thomas, I just thought he had a decent game in his first league start. He is only 17 after all.

No to bad I think he has a lot more strength than gael and probably more pace of what I have seen before.
Still prefer gael but he deserves a rest.

thought he had a decent game ,struggled mentally and physically for the last half hour ,worried me a little later on when caught in possession staying on the floor feeling his legs when he needed to get back up and on it,suggesting a slight lack of maturity, but i guess thats natural enough co's he is barely 18

Thomas was at fault defensively which led to their penalty but had a good match apart from that

pretty sure he was struggling with cramp for the last ten minutes. Not sure if the coaching staff noticed or if Conor told them or not, but I think Deegan should have come on for the last 5 or 10

Can they all have servants come on? If we had 11 players each with their own servant we'd have a chance.

What would their duties be? Maybe they could carry the ball for them? Make tackles on their behalf?
