Feel free to move Nick, if necessary.

Basically, I'm driving to London staying in Acton (West London) tonight, then Wembley Hilton Sunday and coming back Monday.

Do I need to worry about congestion charges on the Monday? Or any charges for that matter.

Thanks in advance PUSB

Blow your nose before you get there and you'll be fine.

I wouldn't have thought so, it's outside of the charging zone.

You should be fine. Acton and Wembley are miles away from the C zone. There's no charge anyway between 6pm on a Friday and 7am on Monday.

It's apparently £11.50 to go within the C-zone at the relevant times. If you did get charged but didn't pay on the day, you get a penalty charge in the post for £130. This is halved if you pay within 14 days. Absolute robbery, the whole thing, and one reason I never go anywhere near the place. That London is just a tourist trap.

True. Where can I buy my tickets for the 2047 FA Vase Final?

Should be okay, just checked both hotels, and they are outside the zone.

You'll have to ring in or go online to pay. Oh and despite having ANPR cameras everywhere to ensure they can fine you they can't tell you if you've entered the zone or not.

You pay value added TAX when you buy your car.
Then pay fuel duty TAX and value added TAX when ever you buy diesel or petrol.
Then pay road TAX.
Then pay the congestion zone TAX to sit in Mr Khan's traffic jams whilst watching one cyclist an hour ride past you on Mr Khan's (who is paid by using your TAX) pointless cycle lanes (as they've been built in the wrong places) that have been paid for by using the TAX mentioned above and created by reducing the road space available for the people that are actually paying for it with their TAX. It should be noted that the one cyclist an hour who is using it is not only not paying any TAX to do so but is also partaking in a very healthy activity which involves breathing in the harmful fumes from your exhaust.

Imagine how much shorter Mr Khan's traffic jams would be and thus how much less pollution they'd be for the vast majority of cyclists that don't use Mr Khan's cycle lanes if half of the available road space wasn't taken up by Mr Khan's cycle lanes.

Might be a bit of a long winded way of saying it but I agree with your post @SkyBlueSid

To be fair to Mr Khan, it was Mr Ken that introduced this modern day Dick Turpin stunt.
