What’s hard to understand is you saying our first Championship play off season since relegation from the Prem isn’t good enough.
Yes it's irrelevant how much time we spent in the top six, however given that we spent one third of the season in the bottom half of the table not turning our season on until O'Hare came back isn't good enough. Not sure what is difficult to understand about that.

Some of us remember Division 1 , some of us remember 87, some of us remember watching a City team take apart the elite ( not consistently ).Some of us remember the Premier League and frankly have enjoyed the last seven years more.

Say what you want about Doug King, it is clear he is a very very intelligent man. If it’s true he really isn’t interested in football, it has to be said he has well and truly thrown himself into this project, talks a good game and his hands on.

Couldn't agree more. Brought up on top flight football. Sounds good until you consider it was a relegation battle most seasons. A defeat by a single goal was a good result quite often. A draw felt like a win. A win was party time.Some of us remember the Premier League and frankly have enjoyed the last seven years more.
