Watch this space I think.

Interesting he mentioned Jones involvement with performance, going to be a bit of overlap with Roberts or will he concentrate on coaching?

Seems like he's been involved in a lot of different areas at various clubs.

Weird seeing him there in that photo after so long of MR. Sometimes change is just good.

To be fair, if you're Ben Sheaf stood there, you're probably thinking this is brilliant.

Yeah he's my bestie that's why.

He picked me up and took me to Burtons to try on jumpers. I had to duck out when he wanted to go to Boots for some hair product.

I head he is owner and exec chairman. Probably wants to help introduce the new headcoach to the deck???

Unless he is the new defensive coach?

I think he mentioned him more as a first team coach in the interview earlier. Suggests he will take over Boatengs immediate role

If you're going to hang about the gym Doug at least put some training gear on.

Apparently he got word that Lampard was going to take the piss out of him pronouncing City with a D in it and he wanted to nip it in the bud

Oh well. It's done now. I am underwhelmed, but of course I will back him 100%.

Can I ask one thing of my fellow Sky Blues fans....even though I know it will be to no avail.

If we win, say the next three games, please don't give it the whole "King made the right decision" stuff and that Lampard is fabulous. Let's not forget the new manager bounce effect and all that.

By the same token, if results don't improve immediately, can we also refrain from saying it's a terrible appointment.

He's here and we have to give him until the end of the season, unless we drop right down the table further and look like we are going to be relegated.

We have to give him time and can't be giving snap judgements on the back of just a handful of results.

Let's hope he's a big success.

Nice words Otis and I agree with you, but we know that the bedwetters will never stop.

Depends on your definition of success. I’d argue that Bryan Robson did well at Middlesbrough, and kept WBA up against the odds.

Then you have people like Jack Charlton and Glenn Hoddle who were big names as players who went on to have reasonable managerial careers

I would imagine he walked Frank over to the gym to introduce him to the staff and players.

it would have been odd if Frank has just wandered in himself …..
