Probably want to avoid all of the it's too much or too little arguments and furtehr fall-out in the media. Keeping it behind closed doors might finally afetr 12 months put an end to it and I think is the correct decision before speculation and appeals etc become public. Whatever side of the argument everyone sits on in this case, almost all will agree that enough is enough and time to move on.

Seems a bit pointless for Chelsea to punish him further. His career has been left in tatters. All self inflicted mind..
