In the new year I’ll be learning some computational stuff to help with some theoretical work I’ll be doing. As a complete novice is there anything people here would suggest to help getting started? Most of it’s done using Linux which again, never used before.

Linux is pretty straight forward when you get used to it.

Will you be using python?

You could probably install virtualbox or something and just run a virtual machine with Linux on.

Chatgpt Will help you get stuff setup.
