Looks like a good plan / cause.

More than one million people are now participating in football-led community programmes and activities every season...

On Tuesday 25 April, all 72 EFL clubs will come together for the EFL’s Community Day of Action to highlight and showcase the impact of this work in towns and cities nationwide.
The Coventry City squad will be visiting some of Sky Blues in the Community projects, which includes their themes of health, sport, inclusion and education, with the Checkatrade Trophy also set to make an appearance.

Make sure you follow @sbitc_ccfc on Twitter to see the updates throughout the day!

EFL Clubs use the power of football to have a positive effect on thousands of people’s lives in the UK every day, helping participants to improve their lives with programmes focused on health and wellbeing, education, community outreach and much more.

The EFL’s Community Day of Action presents a unique - and brand new - opportunity for all EFL clubs to simultaneously raise awareness of the impact they are having by creating a national platform to highlight the community work that happens across 72 towns and cities, 365 days a year, seven days a week.

The work is having a significant impact in communities up and down the country.

At Sky Blues in the Community alone there are:
• 31 projects (6 health, 8 sport, 11 inclusion, 6 education)
• Just under 19,000 participants in 2016
• Just over 232,372 contact hours, delivered by the team of SBITC staff.

19,000 participants is really good!

Also good that the players will be going out to them for visits.

Nice they're taking the trophy around with them. Always remember having my picture taken with the FA Cup.

Could be "day of action" said fast in fairness to her.

Jones and Lamieras should be released based on matching hats.

Good work. Seems more and more players going out and about in community this year, especially schools, which is nice to see.
