Coming to whatever postcode City are playing in next season

From the Championship:

Bristol City are already down and Wolves will join them if they fail to beat Brighton away next week. Even if Wolves win, they will still go down if unless Barnsley get battered at Huddersfield.

The remaining relegation place will be taken by either Peterboro, Barnsley, Millwall or Sheff Wed. Huddersfield and upwards are safe.

From League 2:

Gillingham
, Rotherham and Port Vale are up and coming to whatever ground the City will be playing at. Joining those clubs will be 1 from the following Play-Off contenders: Burton Albion, Cheltenham, Northampton and Bradford.

Can't believe how quickly Wolves have fallen from grace. The way to do it is surely to spend a middling and increasingly depressing 12 year spell in the Championship first.

Heh, didn't Dean Saunders leave Doncaster for the Wolves job?

They've just spend a shitload on redeveloping their ground as well. Our 'best ground in League 1' claim could be under serious threat next season! They should never have sacked McCarthy.

But defeat leaves Wolves needing to beat Brighton, while hoping Barnsley and Peterborough both lose. And there was a mood of resignation at Molineux long before the final whistle, which produced a pitch invasion from 500 or so angry home fans, protesting at owner Steve Morgan, before being quickly dispersed by police.

Can see a home + away sellout V Burton Albion when we confirm the ground share with them.

Failing that ,lets poach that Coventry millionaire who jointly took over Port vale,

Only £1.25M. including the Ground ,thats what you call acumen . Where was Robbie Williams .

Actually i don't agree the championship is as strong as people say. It is competitive but not strong anyone from Leicester down could get relegated and the fact that in recent seasons Norwich and Southampton have gone from division 3 to the premiership in 2 seasons illustrates that. Any club and that includes us who are run and managed correctly can challenge the top slots of the division

Got to be in it to win it though :-/

Could definitely imagine Boothroyd wanting to settle a few scores too. Though if Platt scores against us I'm jumping off a cliff.

Best ground surely goes to MK Dons - Wolves will have best attendances by miles.

AS IT STANDS - Huddersfield 0-1 Barnsley

Huddersfield started the day seven places from bottom, but have now slipped into the relegation zone. They are struggling to impose themselves against Barnsley too, who are playing some lovely football and appear in control.

Palace equalise vs Peterboro, the latter replace Huddersfield in the drop-zone.

Oh, and Leicester are currently in the Play-Offs.

LOL, gotta love the drama on the final day of the Championship!

Both Forest & Leicester are missing out of the play-offs.
Cardiff take the lead at Hull and Watford are currently going up (around 16 minutes of injury time there!)

I hope that either Watford, Palace or Brighton go up

Some decent clubs coming down to L1. Wolves will be massive favourites for the title with Bristol C not far behind them, whilst Peterboro are experts at getting out of this division. I'd say it will be a harder division to get out of next season. Unless we y'know, take the other route..

Wolves will be joining us and that is clearly something to look forward to. You think our fall was bad.....they don't come much more spectacular than theirs!
