Peace and reconciliation with CCC, whilst trying to take them back to court. The notion any new court action is nothing really to do with the football club. The idea that an independent High Court judge is wrong, and doesn't understand the legal niceties, because he had the temerity to rule against them. The notion that the fans are what matter, whilst completely ignoring the overwhelming demand to return to the RIcoh, even for a short period.

The land for the stadium fantasy, that over 12 months ago were due to be confirmed in a few weeks, is now apparently now months away. Yet he is able to say all this and keep a straight face.Several players leaving, many of them first team regulars, a rock bottom playing budget, and we are told to expect a promotion push. The man is either completely delusional, or stark raving mad.

Good I hope that any new court action is nothing to do with the club so maybe Sisu can pay for it then rather than lumping further debt onto the football club as this ridiculous case has been.

Bitter, spiteful, fat, ugly, useless c*nt with absolutely no acceptance of any wrongdoing. Still giving the same old clout as he has done for the past 18 months. Is he back as the mouthpiece now after Laughobitch's textgate disaster?

Fishcake was lucky to get away with only a pint thrown over him in Brentford. He should have an apple rammed into that fat gob of his and turned on a spit roast. Stupid Pigfish..

I spoke to someone at the weekend down South, who said "cov city?" What ever happened to them?" I was a bit taken back that they didn't know. But it does feel that we are the only ones who care and "we" are getting fewer and fewer. When the f### will this end?

Torchy I think they have an issue with the fact that "Dustin" Hoffman is party to the deal that was being brokered, I believe if they want to come back to the RICOH they will do so on their own agreement with ACL and not brokered by a 3rd party

TIM FISHER is an anagram of F SHIT MIRE. And that folks is where we are in an F'ing Shit Mire. He spouts it, were in it and as long as SISU and him are involved were just going to sink deeper in it. Every time he speaks he makes your blood boil, I am not condoning violence but he must have a guardian angel that no ones taken a pop yet. NOPM

Here is the summary of the court case... by Clive Eaken

Sisu had only one strategy for sustaining the football club according to Justice Higgingbottom and that was to acquire the arena at a knock down price, when this failed there was no plan B the judge said Sisu deliberately cranked up pressure on ACL and the council by going on a rent strike and so putting the arenas management company in trouble.

Sisu also threatened to move or even liquidate the club, the council therefore took the action it did to protect its interests in ACL and the authority was also motivated over its concerns to Sisu to the football club which although in hindsight proved unfounded were reasonable at the time, the judge said deteriorating relationships at the time between the two sides was only of limited relevance to his ruling but observed whilst the rulings were going on that both sides but especially Sisu were intent on protecting their own interests, he also concluded the council was not in breach of European law on state aid.

Fisher rants on in the interview that CCC cost them 20 points and this season the training ground is buzzing as CCFC will start on 0 points and the only way were are looking is up :thinking about:

well Mr Fisher let me bring to your attention the judges comments..........

The answer to your points deduction is in bold, stop deluding yourself and pinning blame elsewhere, it is only you Mr Fisher and you sidekick Seppala that brought the points deduction, stop taking us fans for fools and give us a little respect that we deserve.

Why can't fisher give us a simple break-down?

- Rent and revenues they achieve at Sixfields
- Rent agreement including all costs, as structured in the KCIC deal he brushed aside in that interview

One has revenues, one has potentially significantly larger crowds. Should be simple to show us the net effect of both scenarios. Then we can take a judgement on the rhetoric, and judge if this is just spite or not.

No bullshit. Just that please Mr Fisher

First off a prediction

SISU will approach ACL/CCC for a short term rent deal adding in rights to match day income as part of the rent. ACL/CCC will say we are willing to talk but you will have to buy the income rights, security will be required, but rent will be L1 relevant. SISU wont want to buy the income rights or provide security, will blame ACL for being unco-operative, talks break down and we return to Sixfields. QED all ACL/CCC's fault :thinking about: (or is it .............? )

It has always been the case that the rights to match day income could be bought in, in fact that's what did happen to begin with. What needs to be right is the cost of that. The rent should be set to reflect the use of the ground certainly but like many other tenant clubs then CCFC have to pick up the match day costs as well as the match day incomes. The simplest way of doing that, particularly if only a temporary arrangement, is to use the Compass/ACL staff who are properly trained in the stadium facilities - which means the stadium has a licence to open - which means paying for it

going to his comments
The recovery of a legally owed debt is a set and well defined process known to all - and at each stage open to challenge even counterclaim. All sides knew the legal route and where it would lead. It seems to me and am happy to be corrected that the only time SISU challenged the process was to gain control of the administration
If the Club is at arms length from this legal process why is there direct links on the club website and articles that referred to the club taking action?
Justice Hickinbottam is a very experienced Administrative Court Judge - is he likely to get it so wrong?
The new ground, how do you put pressure on land owners if you do not know where the land is
Not sure how you get healing and reconciliation if there is no compromise and you insist of further legal action
There was no deal actually agreed for the council to step across - the Judge makes clear the HOT 02/08/12 was not a binding deal
ACL loan beyond all reasonable debt ..... CCFC debt is?
The deal was good for all?, clearly ACL and CCC didn't think so. Even Yorkshire Bank suggested something different. It is also clear the debt could not have been bought at a price SISU would pay. The deal was never signed and therefore not agreed
Putting the fans first - good grief ! ........... has never happened and still is not happening
The disclosures from both sides were read in full by the Judge and his judgement was quite damning. It is the judgement that counts not the arguments each side puts that is biased to their own case
there is an assumption an appeal will be allowed - it is not a given
The deal in February 2013 - I thought a three year run off was rejected outright by ACL so how was it being negotiated.
The council cost us 20 points ..... depends whose plan you can see and when it started I suppose
as for the squad being capable of promotion remains to be seen - I certainly don't see it hope I am wrong but I can only see struggles ahead.
"The court case is a point of principle for the football club" but CCFC is at arms length from the legal action??? Which is it?

As ever contradictory and playing with words in my opinion

Ann Lucas has made absolutely clear that there is no sale of freehold available - that means only a lease or rent deal can be done.

The Football League. I wouldn't get your hopes up that they will force anything. Their allegiance is clearly with its members. That is Otium Entertainment Group Limited - the fans are well down their list of priorities in my opinion

second prediction
we will be staying at Sixfields and there will be a lot more legal actions going forward. I do not believe any of it is really to the benefit of CCFC

If Plan A is the new stadium then better get on with it and sooner rather than later provide proper and full details - I find it hard to see a future for CCFC past the end of the coming season hope I am wrong

Tim referred to the Council as "the other side" and then said later on, "we call them the 'other side' but I think we need to move away from that..."
He must feel a right twat when he listens to it again?

Thanks for that link, gave me a good laugh at lunch.

Best quote 'The club is bigger than anyone one person but not bigger than the community'.
Is this the same community that is being denied the right to watch its football club play within the City of Coventry Tim Fisher...?

Hhhmm, not sure about this - the initial application for the JR was pretty damning in rejecting their case, but they won on appeal.

Let's hope leave to appeal is refused and they are forced to go back to the negotiating table...who am I kidding, as Joy promised ACL, SISU will just look for the next opportunity to "batter ACL in court"

Joke isn't it. I hope they are not given the appeal which I don think it will be but just my opinion of course.

I think we know this when costs are settled on the 4th July. This Friday we will know more and get our tax money back we are owed.

sorry to swear Nick and other SBT user but, He does my fucking head in when he talks about "its all about the fans and the community".

FFS what planet does this cretin live on, not unless he is talking about the Northampton community the club and its fans currently watch football in.

I honestly hate to hear this prat talk, he is an absolute waste of fucking space and how the fuck he got and keeps a job like this god only knows.

He makes my skin crawl and when I also see him wearing a skyblue fucking scarf I see fucking red.

Sorry everyone about all the fucks, but the bloke does my fucking head in, oopps there I go again
Thank fuck he's not around me late on a Friday night after one or two whiskys. I have never heard anyone talk so patronisingly and contemptly to those he serves, or supposedly serves

So the football club is arms length from the court actions that are going on ........ ie nothing really to do with CCFC

not quite what the official website says

The full judgement from the Judicial Review between Coventry City and Coventry City Council available...

The Judgement by Hickinbottom J from the Judicial Review between Coventry City Football Club and Coventry City council is now available.

The Judgement was passed down this morning at Birmingham Crown Court after the three-day hearing at the start of the month.

Read more at http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/...oventry-city-1707531.aspx#QcLFovoAEWmHCI7C.99

Neither CCFC nor Otium Entertainment Group Ltd (the owner of the league share) were named as appellants but not quite how SISU and the club see it obviously

Fucking comical and I'm only 10 seconds in.

"The appeal will be heard by three senior court judges"

"Have you been given leave to appeal?"

"No no. We'll apply."

Fucking mug.

On the new stadium: "It won't be a year [before an announcement on location]." Someone start a clock, cos it's been that long already.

Oh, and if Fisher still doesn't understand the reasons for CCC turning down the Sisu deal, can I suggest a little light reading? It's on your own website, paragraphs 30-36.

Edit: Said it before, but Shane O'Connor should do every interview about this, both the Lucas and Fisher ones were very well conducted IMO.

One thing I wish he (or someone) would do though is call Fisher on his crap when he starts the "they cost us 20 points" stuff. I want to hear FIsher answer why CCFC didn't challenge the process at any part of proceedings.

What is telling is the SISU public comments about no sports franchise being able to make the ricoh work which translates as "if ACL attract someone else were fucked"

You have to see this to believe it! Tim Fisher totally contradicts Steve Pressley and the Central news team cannot believe it!
