If Boro get a win or draw v Ipswich today, Tuesday could be another historic day.

When we won the FA Cup in 87, Leicester and Villa were both relegated from the 1st division.

On Tuesday, there's a chance at the very same time we're winning the league, that the cheating, six fingered sister shaggers are confirmed as relegated back to where they belong.

Mind the gap. Come on Boro!

A draw for them would leave us in the annoying "not mathematically done but uncatchable goal difference" stage again if we won against Portsmouth. Go smash them Boro!

Not quite, even a boro win still leaves Ipswich able to get to 87 and we are on 86 as they still have 4 to play!

But a draw or boro win means we can clinch it Tuesday. If Ipswich win then we will need 4 points from pompy and Wrexham (or Ipswich to drop points against Charlton on wednesday or West brom saturday!)

Pretty sure we need a 5 point swing

if they draw they can only get 88 points if we win 89

Not sure what you're saying, we have 86 now. If they draw or lose today, we need to win on Tuesday. That's what I said in the opening post.

Didn’t realise until the lineups came up that they’re missing McGree and Whittaker in addition to Hackney. Not sure I can see a win.
