Was you there? If you were you'd know the layout of the away end, there was only a small part near front hence why i would have heard anything aimed at him when warming up

I heard him booed very lightly as he came on. Geezus if he didn't expect a bit of jip. Can't stand people who feel sorry when the players get a bit of what is essentially football banter. Yes it's normally very unintelligent and just calling someone a wanker and scum.. But that's all football banter is. Hardly witty humour time is it. End of the day, his celebration was provocation (along with several of his team mates) which in the law of the game is a bookable offence. Which he did, obviously for his shirt coming off aswell. But that's it. Done now. He looked a bit of a handful, but nothing incredible.

There is security and police to monitor crowd to decide when they are breaking the law or the rules. The referee is there to do the same for the players. He broke the rule of provocation of opposing fans, and got punished for doing so.
