Alternatively, we are ex-Chelsea players career resurrection club after they’ve been loaned out around Europe for years

Watched him a few times for Ostersunds. Don't think he'd be good enough for the Championship tbh.

I watched him at U12 Level when one of my mates was into his noncing.

He never put a tackle in, don't sign him.

I question whether he’s a player we need. If Kelly and Hamer are retained and James, plus Sheaf are recruited..... assuming the loan contract clause is triggered due to retaining championship status and with Eccles as back up.
Would the budget be better directed towards another position?

Not actually sure why we need another midfielder unless he's similar to O'Hare or we are selling one our assets in midfield.seems a strange one this trial.

Made in Chelsea but thriving in Sweden: The former Blues starlets taking a different route to top | Goal.com UK

Until recently a number of Chelsea's most talented young players have been forced to leave the club to earn first-team football, with a number of them now thriving in the Swedish top-flight
www.goal.com

There's an article from last year with quotes from Viveash saying Colkett had the most ability he had seen in a player and he was sure he would rise again.

Obviously he’ll know a bit more but didn’t he say something very similar about Charlie Wakefield?

"The quickest he'd ever seen" so not the same.

Don't get the negativity around this tbh. He's training with us so we can get a proper look at him & if we decide to offer him something it will be on a free transfer with likely a modest wage. He was a very talented youngster & now at 24 he's had some decent experience but is still a good age as well as being able to play anywhere across Midfield. It's a very low risk deal if we decide to pursue it.

Didn’t say same, tbf. He was as quick as Vincenti in the end.

Bit harsh he was/is still quick & tbf Viveash was referencing when he coached him as a teenager. He then had a lot of serious injuries which obviously derailed him.

Viveash said he was the ‘quickest’ player he had seen.

Wakefield was unlucky with injuries and illnesses and so on. Maybe he could’ve developed into a decent player.

Left footer. Don't we just have Shipley in midfield who favours his left? Looks technically good, albeit from the clips.

Maybe we are getting James, so we can All Sit Down at the Ricoh next year, or one of their top defenders and midfielders, so we can Mount a challenge for some Silvawear.

Would be nice to chill well.

Which way to the cloakroom?

Looks like he has ability, cheap, left sided and on trial with a view to sign apparently if he proves himself for Mark Robins to offer him a deal that’s good enough for me.

He's of the age where he's coming into his prime. We haven't hired many in that position recently: usually potential or coming to a close with only a few years left.
