I predict over the next few weeks that Allen will make a second half debut - replacing Zainbrooke as Clive goes mental in the commentary box.

I bet £1 that he'll call him at least two of the following: Clive Allen, Martin Allen, Paul Allen, Dave Allen, or Alan Alda.

Whats the opinion of Shippers 2nd 'goal'?

How were the officials? We win and no criticism?

Only one team in it, on another note is Shipley a striker waiting to happen, a very calm finish hmmmmm

Shipley and Westbrooke have such a good understanding with each other. At least one of them is involved in every single one of our highlights except McCallum’s goal.

Westbrooke assist for Shipley goal
Shipley assist for Westbrooke hitting the post
Westbrooke assist for O’Hare miss

Westbrookes stats for goal involvement this season is really strong. Must have 4 goals and 4 assists in about 15 games. He is making great improvements. Seems to be more willing to make more ambitious passes/shots rather than previously where he seemed happy playing simple balls.

'We didn't play badly. You must be joking. I have never seen us so outclassed in a game. Coventry caused us far more problems than Spurs because we did nothing to stop them. It was as if we turned up to play a five-a-side game, and the opposition cheated by playing eleven.''

This from the Colchester forum sums it up for me yesterday. We world a world ahead of them.

One thing from Shipley's goal, and from some of Max's in the last few games, is the willingness to hit the shot early. They don't take that extra touch Hiwula and Baka do - they just instinctively hit it.

the keeper was a statue for McCallum's goal, did he think it was going past the post??
