We need to kick it well and get it in the goal and also not let it go in our goal and do good headers and running.

0-0 or maybe we sneak a win

and i dont give a fuck if thats 2 predictions because this thread aint a competition!

really need defence to come through as upfront we may be lacking more than usual

joe cole should play so murphy on left and job on right, tudgay or lateef upfront for me.

with no cb in i guess phillips has to start unless he brings haynes in and puts stokes at cb but thats a big risk

Park the (newly painted) bus and hope for a 0-0.

Take a draw but can see us sneaking a 1-0 with a goal from Tudgay

IF a new CB is recruited and IF RCC is indeed fit - 2-1 win.

IF no new CB and Burge in goal I fear a loss. 0-2.

I would take a point if offered it now, with a strengthened side back in place for the Gillingham game at fortress Ricoh.

Colchester have conceeded 20 goals in the last 6 games.

It won't be 0-0/1-0. They scored 4 against Walsall.

2-2 draw

Think we should be targeting a win tbh. Walsall and Burton not playing and Gillingham have Bury at home.

Chance to go top or at least 2nd

I think it'll finish 1-1, we will go behind early on and sneak a goal in the last 5 mins.

I think a different CCFC will turn up compared to NTFC, I just think playing 3 games in 7 days took its toll.

Good old Mowbssss will have the lads up for this one. Need a big effort from ricketts and martin keep that back 4 organised and a change of fortune for fortune in front of goal would be nice.

Sneaky 2-1 win would be lavelyyyyy! PUSB

We will win. 3-1 I reckon. Hit the top of the table and stay there all season.

Colchester are like a shitty version of Peterborough, be a difficult match and I'd take a draw with it being away from home and with players missing.

Going for a 2-2 with Murphy bagging 2 for us

The Northampton game we played reserve youngsters among some regulars and frankly I always felt we did not want to be involved in cup competition that we can't win while the league we can.
It will be back to business against Colchester and a win will probably take us top. need any more motivation?
The remaining fixtures for November for us and those teams around us have us looking favourites to remain on top tbf.

I would expect the lads to go get this win and keep the back tight. We should be too good for them so 0-2 for us, hit top and wait for the excitement to become real with a few on here starting to believe instead of the pessimism we so often get.

Can't see us scoring with no creativity from Kent and no Armstrong and as we're leaking goals for fun I unfortunately see a loss on this one

I know Kent is out but I have not seen anything official about Armstrong being missing yet.....
Are we sure he is definitely out.

Think we certainly have enough similar players to cover for Kent as I have said previously.

If Armstrong not about would quite like Tudguy to get a start for this game ahead of Fortune!

Party pooper time from me. Colchester have goals in their side, so unless we can keep hold of the ball in midfield and tighten up in defence/ sign a lump, I fear we may get a bit of a hiding (0-3 in the prediction league). On the plus side, I have been ****ing rubbish at the prediction league, so whatever Asute says is far more likely to be the result!! Please say a win, Astute!

Our unbeaten run comes to an end 2-1. We've leaked goals lately. And with no Kent or Armstrong, we're devoid of punch up front.

Tend to agree without their extra ability we miss a creative spark.

I would tend to favor this line up:

------------RCC
Phillips-Ricketts-Martin-Stokes
JOB--------Fleck----Vancilot
--------Cole--------Murphy----
------------Fortune------------

When we have everyone fit this team is scary good for L1:

---------------RRC--------------------

Phillips---Martin-Ricketts---Stokes

----------Fleck-----Vancilot--------

--Kent-----Maddison---Murphy

-------------Armstrong------------

JOB
Lameries
Fortune
Haynes
Thommas
Cole

I'd be tempted for Tudgay over Fortune. Unless we are winning and want to slow the game down.

Not sure about tempted, absolute no brainer for me for Tudgay to start ahead of Fortune.

Noticed Alex Revell went to Wigan on loan. Good player at this level, surely a better option than Fortune

Going for a 1-0 win and a surprise clean sheet, Tudgay to step up to the plate and do his bit when called upon surely he will start ahead of Fortune....

I have still seen nothing to say that Armstrong is our only Kent??? Anyhow assuming that he is out my team
is below 4-2-3-1 formation.

RCC
Phillips RB
Ricketts CB
Martin CB
Stokes LB
Vincelot CM
Fleck CM
JOB ACM
Murphy ACM
Cole ACM
Tudguy CF

Subs: Burge, Haynes, Harries, Lameiras, C.Thomas, Fortune, Sambou
