Have to say, I am not the slightest bit nervous at all today and I feel very confident going into the game this afternoon.

Putting everything else aside (our poor home form, the pitch, the leaky defence etc), I still look at today and say to myself, we should be able to beat Colchester.

I'm going for a 2-1 to the City.

An absolute Thriller today going CCFC's way. 4-3 FT( Nouble x2, Ward x1 and Fleck with an outrageous Charlie Adam -esque shot from inside his own half to catch the keeper out in the 91st min to win it for us).

Straightforward 3-0 win. Put these relegation drama queens to bed and prepare for another season of under achievement in Division 3

I'm feeling confident that we will gain a minimum of 4 points from the next 2 home games.
Win today, draw on Tuesday.

Sounds like you've taken some pretty powerful stuff this morning Otis.

Got any going spare?

Yep. Have a look round the back of the sofa. You may find it there perhaps.

Thanks for that - found it (together with 79p in loose change).

Surely finding 79p in itself is enough reason for optimism.

When I look back at old team sheets we often look far stronger than the team that beat us, in years to come I'll be wondering the same thing when I look back. The slight difference being I won't remember some of our team.

Poor game, 0.0 today.

In always positive but today I just can't hack the disappointment so going to predict a 3-0 loss and it to lob it down on way back to car and everyone around us to pick up points

Oh and a 6500 crowd

I wish I had others confidence, I see the other teams at the bottom scoring freely in games and ourselves looking clumsy and sadly, missing Samuel, our form at Notts county was different to what my friends said the commentary was like.

we are still not testing keepers and I fear a 3-0 drubbing today and a real blow to Tuesdays game.

lets hope I am wrong and 6 points in 4 days settles the situation and we can then start the real debate on next year and who and what type of club we will have.

this season has always felt like the Thorn one to me, complete inevitability about our fate through lack of action early enough from the leaders of the club

Hoping for a win, half expecting a loss so I'm going for a 1-1 boring tedious draw

4-1 to us. It's coming I tell ya.

(getting hard to say this with a straight face now I've seen how poor we can be)

I think we'll lose it. Go 1-0 up in the first half which we dominate. Second half a different story and we concede 2 in the last 5 mins.

That suits in some ways though. Colchester need the win today, so will go on the attack. That will leave space at the back and we are at our best when we are on the counter attack.

It's about time that we gave somebody a good hiding, especially at home.

Not possible.

We have 47 points. The team in 6th place has 63 points. If we win all our games that is 15 points. If we achieve 15 points we will end up on 62 points. That is broken down thus; 47 +15 =62.

62 points will leave us a point short.

Yeah but what you're forgetting is all those clubs will go in to admin and get 10 point deductions, we will finish 4th!
