Huddersfield vs Wednesday. Joe Murphy in one goal, Kieran Westwood in the other!

Another piss poor performance but we will nick a point. Pressley to tell us were teriffic and this point can be a turning point to kick start the season.

In the ground. Not many of us here so far! It's quite cold, so the team better give us something to cheer about during the 90!!

@AndyTurnerccfc: Rumour is Reda's playing left-back today. Be interesting to see who gets the armband for #skyblues. Teamsheet soon #pusb

Bet Haynes would be disappointed to be dropped in place of Reda

Further developments

@AndyTurnerccfc: Looks like Ryan Haynes will push up to left mid and John Fleck shuffle across in place of the injured Adam Barton #skyblues #pusb

Think that might actually be a better position for Haynes long term. Saying that I'm not sure if now is the time to be playing everyone out of position given recent form. Shows how weak our squad is when Barton, who wasn't even being considered a squad player a couple of weeks ago, can't be replaced by someone playing in their correct position.

@Coventry_City: Full #CCFC line-up v @ColU_Official: Allsop (GK), Phillips, Martin, Webster, Johnson, O'Brien (C), Fleck, Finch, Haynes, Nouble, Madine.

OBrien captain. Interesting (and right decision IMO)

So we are back to 3-5-2

He's clearly not happy with Reda but does that bring into question his judgement. Was one of his signings and he immediately made him captain, maybe not the best choice in hindsight.

Looks like it. 442 wasn't particularly effective for us either.

You have to ask why Pressley recruited 6 strikers and left us short elsewhere?

I think it's really poor from Pressley to take the captaincy off Reda

It's a bold move, bit like his big speech the other week. The question will be how Reda responds, does he try and prove SP wrong or will he just go through the motions happy to pick up his pay cheque.

we are woefully short in midfield. Not one winger and no-one to replace barton !

To be fair he's right though. If Reda is only playing half of our games its pointless him being captain. We need a captain there 95% of the games at least. JOB perfect choice.

agreed, but he knew that before he gave him captaincy. Reda has only ever played 50% of games

Subs: Charles-Cook (GK), Thomas, Barton, McQuoid, Miller, Swanson, Maddison.

Potentially, or Andy Turners theory could be right. Not sure which is worse (not that I'd mind Haynes at LM but don't think Reda would suit LB. Too clumpy!)

Yeah true. Maybe he was hoping the pattern would change. Could 5-3-2 work better with Madine and Nouble? Providing we get more crosses into the box anyway.

CWR are reporting 442 but don't if that's an assumption.

Miller back on the bench today after being told he could leave.

Full backs won't get into crossing positions enough during the game.

So is he not injured then? If he's injured he shouldn't be on the bench, if he's not injured isn't he a better option than moving half the team to play out of position?
