Did he foul their defender I thought the defender stumbled by himself with no contact from Cody

Not too sure myself. Didn't see anything wrong tbf. Took it around the keeper well though. That's the sort of positions you want him in.

Geoff Foster who was at pitch level said he clipped the back of the defender's heels.

Disappointing that. Although he was probably our best ref this season(not hard though)

That's what I thought happened, ran across the back of him and accidentally clipped his heels

How did he actually play overall?

I couldn't go so listened to last hour on the radio. He didn't get mentioned much.

Worked hard, but went down far too easily and gave up on a number of occassions lookinf for freekicks. Apart from the disallowed goal (the whistle had long gone before he put it in the empty net I.e. it wasn't disallowed play had stopped) didn't look like scoring.

Ran around a lot and at least kept their defence on their toes.

A couple of chances the ball didn't quite go his way. Deserves another chance I think even though he was pretty quiet.

I thought we looked a lot better attack wise with Cody in the team than we do Ball or McSheffrey. His movement alone was causing aclot of problems in the Crawley defence

Disallowed goal?? He never put it in the net? He did take it around the Suarez style, but they came together and the defender went down. Free kick given...simple as why a thread on it????

He tripped him, looked accidental. I know this because I heard it, never thought I'd be at a Cov game where the atmosphere is that bad you can hear slight contact!

cody showed in his first game for us vs ipswhich that he will keep getting into goal scoring positions

if we play him he will score i have no doubt of that

His goal scoring record shows he doesn't score though. He's a dud.

To be fair one was an OG. Regardless of what the records say he's actually only scored 2.

His goal scoring record shows that he does score. But he needs to stay fit and have a run of games.

Hes a good Player! People need to look around and see his movement off the ball! Good finisher and if he loses it ALWAYS works to attempt to win it back.

Cant see why people aren't sure on him yet. Personally, I think he's one of our better players

The defender tripped, plain and simple. We were screwed out of a goal. Crawley players went down way to easily. If you flicked Crawley's midfielders they'd go down as if you'd broke their leg. But we won 3-1 so it doesn't make a huge difference. It was still a convincing win
