Could have been test driving them. To be honest they CAN cost alot depending on the model. SO WHAT MODEL WAS IT. Some models don't cost that much these days. You say top of the range. Extras can really change the price, especially with Mercs basic models.
Look great but have nothing in them. Extras can add thousands to them.

Shame I've never had any up close views of the players. I'm down at that sports centre next to their training ground once a week, but way after they finish training

Need something a bit bigger than that to get his body in, maybe a Monster Truck, he could give Fleck a lift then too.

He would have them on finance. Costing about 400 a month. They're are surprisingly affordable if you are on 2-3k a month. Bit of advertising for my own brand

Ugh it doesn't matter how many games he played for us. He played enough to stay fit and score important goals. Ask any norwich fan what they think of Cody and you will get the same answer. Infact, ask any fan of his former clubs.

32 mostly substitute appearances in 2 seasons for you and five goals.

Well done for keeping him in tip-top shape.

With the amount these guys are on they can all afford very nice cars on finance.

Even Ashley Cain drives a brand new range rover and I don't even know what level he's playing at these days.

Thing is ncfc fan, how's he going to get on the pitch if he's overweight to start with? Surely its up to him to sort his own diet/weight out? He's another eastwood in my opinion and he got crucified on here for his fitness, cody has some kind of god type status with some city fans, its laughable.

Conveniently missed out that it was in League 2, and you loaned him there, and then you sold him to us as soon as he came back.

You may be right Valliant but I'm not so sure .

From those early gamews he looked trim as far as I could tell in row C.

Compared to Macca... Bell ...Fleck....Jennings he is far far leaner.

Flecks a right chubber. Even Mcgoldrick is a little on the chubby side

I've said this before, but none of them are 'chubby'.
Fleck might look a little bigger than he should, but it's definitely not fat. Same as people calling Lampard fat, the majority of them are machines.

Fergie and Wallace were on the chubby side but they put themselves about and took no prisoners

Plenty who don't score above league 2 though, no matter how many goals they score at a lower level.

He scored 4 goals in 24 leage apperances for Norwich.

Any player can have one good season - Misfud and even O'Donovan at Hartlepool.

At nearly 27 the fact people are still taalking about his time at Gillingham says it all.

I can't think of a poorer player to be given the number 9 shirt.

He's definitely on a big whack here, I remember Adrian Durham banging on that Peterborough also had an offer accepted for him but we blew them out of the water with the wage offer we put to him.

No offence but boring thread, he made it as a footballer, he gets what he deserves, bench warmer or week in week out player, no difference, fair play to him!!

When we signed him I reviewed the Norwich forums, considering the talent they had at their disposal there was still quite a few unhappy punters who felt he should have been kept if only loaned to us.

The inky person on here who had genuine inside info said he returned from the summer overweight. That pisses me off. This was a big big season.
