How many will these two blast in?

Sorry to see Turner go (for a joke price, Cardiff must be laughing their heads off, still), but the defence hasn't done that badly. Leicester and Brum should be up there at the end of the season and MBoro have made a great start - we haven't exactly got battered by any of those teams.

Our issues are at the other end of the pitch. FINALLY, we have PACE in the team . Looking forward to watching the Cody & Lukas combo (assuming we can provide enough service to both of them).

PUSB.

Yesterday we were thinking Parkin and ROD, *today* it's Cody and Lucas.

*Thus far!

Lukas will chip in with 8 or 9 but as long as Cody can settle into the Championship the new boy could get himself about 15.

I can see Jukey finishing the season with more assists than goals the way he plays, which in a way could be a big benefit to us.

The difference 24 hours make

PARKIN and Platt

or

Cody and Juke

thing is, if it wasnt for wage demands, Parkin would be here right now, and if we signed him, Cody wouldnt be !

Fingers crossed but I actually feel that that partnership could keep us up. Please don't let anyone else be sold though - unless it's Eastwood!

Oh for some players who move from the middle of the pitch up to the penalty area thingy, what do they call them again? Oh yeah, Attacking Midfielders!

Can we clone Dennis Wise or something?

Given the price thats is been reported for Cody £500k, does that make ALF a great deal, or is Cody that much better ?

2010/11 season, both players in League 2

Adam Le Fondre - 23 goals, 6 assists, 40 games
Cody McDonald - 25 goals, 4 assists, 41 games

Much of a muchness. I think all things considered both are good deals as both could probably have commanded a £1m fee.

Just glad we got someone in that should be able to do the job we so desperately need.

if the price is 400 to 500 k its not a bad deal as Norwich have got cash in the bank and didnt really need to sell him, how long did he have left on his Norwich deal?

His old deal with Norwich would have ran out at the end of this season.

Something tells me that we the clubs bidding for Juke did not match the price on his head... hence why the Parkin deal fell through.

But there are still 2 hours to go.

Anything could happen.

We are still light weight in midfield and need an attacking player.

ALF scored about 7 penalties for Rotherham though, Mcdonald did not score any pens.

Like he is going to say we had to make do with 2nd best!

I figure Juke will go in Jan with a big & not so young striker nearing the end of his contract coming this way. Scotland maybe.. that seems to be what the Parkin thing was about, but they couldn't/wouldn't do the deal & stayed with what they got.

speaking to a Norwich ST holder and he said he looked an exciting prospect when they seen him but sadly did not come good for them. Lets hope he comes good for us!!!
