Cov Mad (the most trustworthy of sites!) has an article stating that a rumour on Twitter is that Rotherham are close to agreeing a fee for CM for a permenent transfer. Not seen anything myself but be interesting to see if it comes off.

Well you couldn't make it up could you.
We couldn't afford ALF while they were down there, now we're down there and they may be after ours.
Even more amusing their Owner /Chief is in line for a monument to his achievement ,the Synergy is remarkable ,being lead by a vote in the local paper.

Mighty Millers!

After Rotherham United’s triumphant promotion to Division One, how would you like to see Millers mastermind Tony Stewart’s transformation of the club recognised?

Sorry, but I wouldn't class someone wanting to buy Cody McDonald "normal".

In fact, I'd say it was the opposite of normal.

Maybe Rotherham could take him, play him and then complain that they paid over the odds, so just not give us the cash, then move onto another striker.

Can't we still sell though?

Even when its lifted we will still need to shift players due to the FFP rules now so if someone is willing to take fringe players like Cody don't moan just get rid

We cannot sign players under embargo. But we can get rid of them.

What a poor signing, and yet again a waste of money.

Not if it is deemed that the whole club is in admin
Example - Fisher says no new kit until out of admin, so presume even Holdings are unable to get the kit.

I'm pretty sure we can sell players under an embargo, just not sign players. I could be wrong

I would have thought Gillingham would use their promotion bounty to take him permanently. They seem a perfect match.

We can sell players, or at the moment the administrator can just can't sign any, which would test the who is and who isn't in administration ltd or ltd and Holdings who say they hold the players registrations. Could be the ultimate test bringing the Football League off the fence.

I will start a conspiracy that Cody will succeed wherever he goes next and that his sale will be through the Administrator or,spun to suggest the his sale was due to admin and no ST sales etc.

Does anyone on here know where he lives? because I'm willing to pick him up from his house and drive him to Rotherham myself.
