I emailed the guy organising the coaches, he told me they are leaving from the ricoh and city centre at 9:30 and you can park your car for free.

What Time they setting off and what time do you expect to be at Wembley? The offal coaches are leaving at 8:30am so gives plenty of time to go for a beer when you get there. The extra tenner is small change if it allows drinking time before game, no good if you're getting there at 1pm.

Is that likely to be the Club coach pick up drop off point?

They're setting off at 9:30, with a stop off for a comfort break on the way down. Getting to Wembley does depend on traffic but we're expecting it to be about 12. The way we look at it is the extra tenner works out an extra £50 if you're going with 5 people etc.

Just to keep everyone in the loop, we have just started filling up our 19th coach. They go from Coventry, Bedworth, Nuneaton, Leamington & Rugby. Get them from ccfcwembley.com if you're still looking for travel

I've booked the Leamington one. Do you know pick up time and location yet? Not been informed of anything since booking.

Pick up time is 9:30 from every location & the pickup location will be emailed to you within the next few weeks, we just need to see how many coaches we sell for Leamington and we'll get a good and easy place for you to get picked up from.

2016-17 season
Official CCFC coach for Wimbledon £13.50
Official CCFC coach for Millwall £14.50
Official CCFC coach for Charlton £14.50
Official CCFC coach for Wembley £26.00

I'm all for make hay while the sun shines but is this taking the piss a bit?

The club don't I assume own the coaches so I would think the sub contractor is banging on a charge as many many coaches will have to be reserved.

In that case why can others charge £15, £16 and £17? Including one that by the sounds of it will be taking just as many as the club.

I also think it's quite short sighted of the club to not offer alternative pick up and drop off locations. They would've sold loads to those in Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington, Nuneaton, etc.

As I've said above for most it makes no sense to do that either. Pay £2 too park at Stanmore or Canons Park (or free in one of the unrestricted streets nearby) and pay £3.00 (£1.50 for kids) return on the tube. Even if there's 5 in your car and you paid to park it'd be a max of £17. You'd get home earlier after the game too.

You'll be lucky to find free parking around Stanmore and Canons Park tube as it's nearly all residents parking only. I used to live in Stanmore many years ago and parking was always a nightmare then especially when there was a game on at Wembley. Watford is probably a better bet with the Metropolitan line direct into Wembley Park.

A question was asked earlier in this thread about car parking in the City Centre, I'm not 100% sure how much Fairfax Street charges, but I know that Belgrade Plaza car park is £1 all day on a Sunday
