Old Peugeot site? Technically in Rugby Borough, so no issue with Cov City Council planning, but still close enough to be considered in Coventry...

Can't ACL sue SISU for releasing false statements, SISU were not forced out of the stadium.

Er yes they were. They were submitted with a court order and do not agree the terms which allow the club to play there.

Couldn't you argue that the court order was brought about due to SISU breaking the contract themselves?

Cant believe anyone will be so stupid to suck this bullshit up. Theyre not interested in the team or the club or the fans.

Nothing. The trust should be getting the football league to clarify that Coventry is in administration and the league have repossessed the share. This would end all of the nonsense.

It's hard to see what they're interested in right now.

Theyre still trying to distress acl and undermine the ricoh. The strategy is carefully planned and thought out.

The FL don't want to make a statement. I hope they change their mind.

Just a thought about the silence from FL.

Remember when

1 Leicester went into admin the FL changed the rules?

2 Wimbedon/Milton keynes fiasco FL changed the rules?

Now Golden Share?

Are they looking at their rules?

I have a fee ling that this for the FL/FA could be a lot bigger than CCFC just a thought

Just listening to the radio and Graham Stack read out this statement and it struck me that the way he used their terms in mentioning us as "The CCFC" which is obviously the area of contention around where the share is .Why express it as THE CCFC.
Here it is Pasted

"Therefore we retained stadium specialists some months ago to advise us on suitable sites for a permanent club stadium in the local Coventry area. This will involve a substantial further investment in the CCFC :thinking about:

Fisher himself pertains to the fact that due to legal process they had'nt been able to state these plans. So have they had some equivical ruling from the League yesterday after Appletons remark that putting it up for sale may induce a conclusion between parties who have the potential to clarify the situation ,possibly through legal routes??:thinking about::blue::blue::blue:

I think they'd have to in order to avoid this whole mess happening again. Shame it's us that are the guinea pigs for it.

They might want to start by tightening up the procedures around ownership and transfer of the share, so that something like this can't happen again.

Maybe you're right, maybe they already are, who knows?

50p still says that they'll eventually put out some hilarious statement about how they've come to terms to remain at the Ricoh after listening to the fans because the fans come first and they love the fans.

That's fifty whole pence I'm putting up, so you know I'm serious.

You could buy half of ccfc for that.

Chief Executive Tim Fisher said: “Everyone is aware of the situation with the Ricoh Arena and the fact that we were forced out of the stadium..."

Nope, still not a fact.

So lets get this right - to make progress we are leaving a state of the art stadium with SISU accruing £69M debts to build another stadium for £30M and a three year wait for occupancy - most other clubs would die for the Ricoh with all of its revenue streams and established status.

You couldn't make it up - an absolute farce and wholesale disgrace.

I will still NOT support an alternative venue even in Coventry

Think the problem the FL have is that it becomes increasingly likely that there will have to be legislation to govern football and that has all sorts of ramifications.

If thats the case ,then who has the power to make the Administrator do his job and join the Dots instead of hiding behind the excuse of slow communication from parties .He even suggested the sale process was a gee-up to accelerate a conclusion ,likely in court.Someone in the triangle is going to have to litigate.

Think you could possibly come to a conclusion that there is and always has been a scheme to this going back well in to 2012 wingy. Though that is only an opinion of a possible scenario :thinking about:

was it set up ready for someone to enact?

PH4 needs to listen to the biggest proposal yet!....Coming from Brendan Guillfoyle......Get stuck in and buy the Ricoh share and more importantly, CCFC ltd.
The FL will be more likely to agree the GS to a club with everything already in place...ie..a ground to play on!

£30M. ...........Does that include the purchase of land ...... did we hear something of devlopement around the Club of a retail nature ETC so other Investors ,seem to be following someone elses model here .CCC's
Only one difference ,based on the Rotherham model it took something like £25M. to achieve a new ground for ..........Was it a 12K. capacity ,now some may think that is rational or even logical.
But I would argue it demonstrates a certain opinion of us as fans of this club and would seem to say we belong somewhere around 3-4 Division ,that is what they think we want and aspire to.
I think I see diametric difference between what the local Council have been willing to facilitate the club with its ambitions and what the current Custodians view of a successful viable club will be in the future of CCFC.

We can certainly try lobbying the FL. It certainly will not do any harm. However don't expect to get anything more than a standard response saying they can't comment. I challenged this and said I had not requested them to comment, but to investigate whether one of their clubs was planning to breach their rules about ground location. They replied saying my comments had been noted. Less than 2 hours later TF came out of the wood work with his first statement for a couple of months or so, saying a that the Club was 'keeping the relevant authorities informed of it's plans'. Co-incidence? Maybe, but I sense that privately, the FL do act on legitimate points, while maintaining a public stance of 'no comment'.

Complete rubbish, not a chance on gods green earth will another stadium be built in Coventry, and SISU cirtainly would not back one.

Its just another move in the game between SISU and ACL, more pointless media attention.
