Much has been said of our new club record of 11 away wins in a season, which we could still improve on, but there is one more new club records that we have established and two more under threat before the season's over.
1. We have already established a new club record of 6 consecutive away league wins (Leyton Orient, Hartlepool, Colchester, Doncaster, Stevenage, MK Dons. Previous record was 4.
2. Most points scored in a season under 3 pts for a win is currently 66 in 2001-02. 11 more points will establish a new record.
3. Most away league goals in a season is currently 36 in 1963-64. 2 more needed to break this record.
Just think if we can break these records this season and get nothing out of it (ie promotion) then who knows, we might break the broken records again next season!
a very strange season wins away, losses at home, two good goalscorers, wins on the trot, with 2 managers and 2 caretaker managers.
never a season like this one

Anyway - even compared to the usual mental business of CCFC, this has been crazy. There was even a spell where the off pitch stuff wasn't even being spoken about - then came the threat of a ground move, a new ground and insolvency.
A truer reflection of performance than total points gained is average points per game. The highest under the 3 points for a win system is 86/87, 1.50. We are marginally above that at the moment.
Its all a bit academic though isn't it, obviously its according to what league you are in ?! The best football I have seen City play was between 1977-1979 and again in 1997-1998 when we won a few on the bounce after Xmas !
Ferguson and Wallace and Huckerby and Dublin................Good days !!
