I treated my old man to a comfy seat this season in Club Coventry, thought it was pretty good value during early bird and a decent pint before the game. One of the other selling points though was "priority to away game tickets". Does anyone know how this works? Do you buy online or do you have to contact CCFC hospitality?

It will work just like season tickets. Log into your eticketing account and they will be available to buy before they go on general sale.

Okay thanks so its not really a priority then its just the same access as getting a ST before general sale.

Correct.

What else do you get - access to the lounge I think, but is it free programmes and HT coffee too? Parking?

And if any of the above, how much more was it than the normal ST? I didnt even look tbh but would have been a nice touch.

Yes everything you mention was included for £550 for adults and £275 for U16's. It does state Parking is Car Park C but i requested Car Park A as C was a long way for my old man to walk and they were happy to allow this.

Your Club Coventry Membership package includes the following:

  • Access to all CCFC home league matches
  • Padded Corporate Seats in Block B or Block E
  • Access to the Level One Lounge with cash bar facility and TV Screens
  • Complimentary matchday programme and teamsheet per guest
  • Pre-match interview with former and current players
  • Post-match Man of the Match interview
  • Priority access to purchase away match tickets
  • Complimentary half-time tea and coffee
  • VIP Car Parking in Car Park C (1 space per 4 places purchased), subject to availability
  • Ricoh Return Membership

You don't get prawn sandwiches in Club Coventry, just hot steak pies and cold beers.

Was a toss up between Club Coventry and an executive box this season. Box was a tenner more so went for that.

Just fancied joining in with the dick swinging.

Is that what goes on in there? Wondered why they were attached to hotel rooms.

So when it was last discussed here what '1 space per 4 places purchased'.I was told it meant 1 space per 4 places purchased per game i.e. if you brought guests along per ticket. From what you are saying this seems not to be the case. It was on this understanding that I bought an Arena car parking pass in addition the the Club Coventry package.

I'm not sure where you are getting the £550 from either, it's 660?

edit - club have confirmed that it's free car parking on a per match basis if you bring along 4 guests. Given the cost of car season ticket, it would otherwise mean they were pretty much giving away the hospitality revenue.

When you get to a certain age, not having to fight at the casino or ground floor bar for a pint and a seat, then traipse through, and hang around, a cold, noisy, frantic concourse but instead be ushered into a comfortable lounge, with quick bar service, better pies and then sitting in a centrally located padded seat is worth it.

Club Coventry - because I'm worth it.

I wouldnt get too excited about Club Coventry, the lounge is a bit dated and you feel disconnected from the stadium, the business lounge bit feels like the foyer of a photocopy machine factory. At least in St Andrews you could watch the warm ups etc. The bar used to be really slow but this was down to the staff employed and maybe thats better now but be prepared to queue up. The only food is pies, no option of anything more but you can nip down to the main concourse easily enough. The coffee at half time is instant granules in a paper cup. You do get a free programme and team sheet and the former player interviews are occasionally interesting. Of course there are decent toilets with no scramble and its lovely and warm on a winter game.
You do get a great view though, especially in block B and yes the seats are padded. Its nice being able to sit behind and close to the managers.
As you pointed out the car parking is a bit of a con unless there are 4 of you together.
The Legends lounge looks like it has had a bit of a makeover and feels like what you would expect of hospitality these days so maybe next summer for CC.

Yeh, enjoyed the Carrot Lounge, and agree that, being enclosed, CC can be a little bit dour, not that this detracts else from what I've said. And not to mention the superiority of the pies than in the concourse - least, they used to be!

Early bird was £550, the £660 price is if you buy now. I also have 3 adults and 1 U16 so have parking included, i didn't know it was 4 places but irrelevant for me anyway as i have 4.

Each to there own choice and didn't mean to start a debate i was just after a query on how it works for away tickets.

Yes. Most, though I appreciate not all of us, would be paying tax.
