Hello all,
As part of my brainwashing plan for the next generation, I'm planning to take my 5 year old daughter to her first game and perhaps rather than go to the family stand (which is good and I take my 7 year old to), I thought I might try the hospitality options of either club cov lounge or legends lounge - both same price, though apparently club cov has man of the match presentations.
Any advice, in particular, are they family friendly or would I be better staying in with the junior sky blues / is legend or club cov better?
Thanks.

Make sure you feed em before you arrive, as a pie on arrival is out of the question,

It's over hyped and over priced. The first few seasons were very enjoyable and a good experience but this season is a joke. We're in Club Coventry and this season will be our last. No appreciation for customers at all and treated very poorly. No food at all now this season and the queue for drinks is poor with a pint priced at £4:70. I'd save your money and stay where you are.

Gave up our seats when Sixfields happened.
is it quiet in there now ? Used to be able to come in after the half time whistle ,get a pint and still catch the kick off for second half . Young staff but quite a few of them to get you served quick enough . Seems very sparce now ,looking from tuther side

It's like a morgue now. The only difference in there now is that there's carpet on the floor!!!

this post makes fairly depressing reading no matter who's at fault.

I agree but that's the sorry state of affairs. On a brighter note; my partner over stocked on Puka Pies this week with the big food shop delivery so I'll bring some to the lounges next game

Legends lounge is great and it's like the Winchester club. Nice bar, spotless toilets, free tea and coffee and comfortable surroundings.
The only downside is this season as we are so shit the atmosphere is quite down beat.
Good for young ones and older fans too! Nice and relaxed.

The beers cheaper than cov lounge and also less of the nose in the air brigade

Thanks for thoughts, down to two options - ruled out Cov lounge then....
Wife still keen on a padded seat (if I have to sit through this...). Wouldn't mind, but when we initially met up (20+ years ago), she didn't mind HR!

It's all so downbeat now ! If the games were exciting and played at a higher level with big crowds people wouldn't even notice the price of a pint !
