Bit early to say I reckon. We lost two in a row in September also and were a lot closer to the bottom then; if it continues into December alarm bells should start ringing, but I think it's a bit premature yet.

that's simple. sh1tsu sell up to someone who's willing to take the club back to the ricoh under 1 of 3 circumstances.

1) under a rent deal that benefits the club.

2) the club buy ACL (this would include the leasehold) meaning that all revenue streams are available to the club.

3) the club buy the freehold at market value

all off field negativity could be wiped out in 2 transactions creating a positive environment for SP to carry on addressing the on field negativity that's plagued the club since premiership relegation creating a positive environment for the fans.

this is never going to happen under sh1tsu and never ever going to happen at sixfields

Couldn't agree more. We have always been that sort of club (on the pitch). Seem to remember back in a previous life when we beat Man Utd 3-2 and went on a fantastic run, that we would have been in the relegation zone if we had lost that game. Win on Sat and we can look forward (sudden bout of optimism descended for some reason)

@skybluetony Any of those could work.

Though I have a concern about the high level of debt the club has been allowed to carry, there is no doubt that paying it back is above such things as promotion in priority order.

Personally I'd like a fresh start (admin & debts gone) but I don't think Joy will accept that.

Sadly this saga will go on & on unless a deal to return to the Ricoh is done very soon.

personally i'm most in favour of option 2. especially if the clubs owners could wangle a deal of an extension of the lease period to say 100 years. the £7million valuation that les read was going on about was for the ACL and the lease hold, this is all the club needs for FFP rules.

unfortunately the current owners need more than this, so i cant see it ever happening.

following OSB financial summing up of the clubs debts which were considerably less than the £60M that joy diversion has been banding about and referring to as investment i think this is probably more likely to be joys idea of advertising her asking price for the club, which clearly no-one is ever going to pay.

we are in a right shit sandwich, no mistake.

After the first 5 games of the season almost every City fan would not have believed it if anyone had suggested we'd e where we are now. Trust in SP & the lads...they've busted their asses for us to get us mid-table. They wouldn't want to throw that away now - yes I think our weaknesses have been well & truly exposed starting with the Bradford game. They showed everyone how easy it is to cause us problems the way we play. Now SP has to fine tune a bit IMO. If we're still getting hammered come Xmas THEN I'll have concerns.

to be fair, its not as if the club have sat back hoping to ride this out. Its a small squad which has suddenly got bigger. Webster and Clarke now have competition.
