Having been unfortunate enough to have to listen to ‘home’ commentary when we’re away at the moment, it actually makes you realise how polished Clive and Oggy are.

Oggy called Brentford 'Blackburn; at least twice yesterday, midweek Clive was overruling Oggy and telling him Hamer it was James, and yesterday he mistook Hamer (with the near post side netting shot) for someone else. It always makes me in towards the screen to double check I'm not going mad!) It also reminds me of missing matchdays when somebody is down injured, or scores at the other end, and I'm asking 'who's that, who scored?' !

I'm surprised there is not more praise for Clive from Brentford game. He was one of our best commentators & got less wrong than usual.

Having both listened to Clive and given him stick for as long as I can remember he actually is part of the City experience listening to them away from home in all weather he is there and now Oggy has grown into his new role I wouldn’t have it any other way. It does give me a chuckle when he gets it wrong but it’s part of a long tradition. Just wish he started to use “scrambled it away” more often like he used to.

They could definitely do with an ifollow feed or the ability to see the cameras like sky commentators do
