This is pure speculation and I've no evidence to support this in an way (not even a mate who knows a groundsman) but...

Remember how Turner was injured this time last year? Never played for us again as "unfit" until he went to Cardiff where the weather obviously agreed with him and he sprung back, ready to play within days of arriving? Well, could it be possible that a deal had been done for Sammy and that he's being kept safe and scratch-free prior to disembarking in January?

As I said, pure speculation, but thought it might break up the gloom with a bit of a conspiracy theory.

Hopefully not. He's done more bad than good this season and has only scored the one goal in the last 2 and a half seasons.

yes but if the players dont want to leave, they wont ,clingan has run his contract down the last two times and it will be no different this time,he will join someone for free in the summer witha very nice signing on fee no doubt

Your Speculation could be spot on.
With the likelyhood of Sisu/Finance, continuing their dismantling of our club, there could be several players, stored in kIng sized Jiffy bags, come the January Car Boot
