The two scenarios are miles apart and you know it, or at least I'd hope you do.

I can only hope you're doing this deliberately and are not actually this dim.

one is a waste of space who at times over the past few years has shown glimpses of class, the other is Freddie Eastwood

That was definitely Willis wasn't it? I keep making jokes about how tanned Thomas is, but the Beeb have taken it a bit literally there.

You really think Clingan was that bad today? I thought he ran his nuts off. In one Southampton move in particular he tracked three players in a row from inside their half before making a block in the left back area.

Southampton defended high up the field and closed down quickly, they doubled up on Clingan and Juke as they know where our threats come from. Considering City spent more time chasing than playing, he was the only one in the centre who ran for 90 and didn't give possession away as much as his midfield colleagues.

Like they say football is about opinions, that's just mine. When it comes to contract talks, I'm aware of his history and don't expect him to stay, in truth why would he??? However he's in a contract year and it's shop window time so I believe like Westwood he'll be keen to impress would be suitors.

I don't think it's fair to criticise his effort and performances this year especially considering his more than inadequate supporting cast. Without him we'd be even poorer.

He was average - so I guess that made him the stand out midfielder today - Thomas was anonymous, McSheffery his usual self (useless), Deegan looked worryingly like someone Chris Coleman signed and Bell came on and did nothing.

Thank god it isn't just me, I got so much grief off my mate who called me a racist for getting Christie confused with Thomas in the Nuneaton game! TBF, I didn't have my glasses and it was raining..

It deffo wasn't Thomas today, it was Willis. Put it down to nobody actually knowing who Willis was?
