I am selling my old Coventry City programmes , which I collected as a child, to raise money for charity. When I was younger I collected a few old ‘classic’ programmes, for example:
The ’87 Cup Final – matchday programme and ‘The Road to Wembley’ programme
v England 1966 World Cup XI (Bill Glazier’s Testimonial)
The 1970 home games against Trakia Plodiv and Bayern Munich in the European Fairs Cup
v Japan in 1978 in their first game in England
and several programmes from the old derbies against Wolves in the ‘60s and 70s
Any money I get will go straight to the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). Ideally, I would like to sell the programmes as one collection (all of the programmes are listed in the attached document), but I would consider selling individually if people preferred.
As well as regularly donating to WSPA, I am undertaking a trek through the Borneo jungle in November to highlight the plight of the island’s Orangutans and to raise money to support the sanctuary on the island run by WSPA.
