Just to clear up any misunderstanding - CJ's tweets earlier were nothing to do with CCFC but with another sporting venture he is associated with - people have jumped on his comments, put 2 and 2 together and got 5. It is simply coincidence that he tweeted his message at the same time as Simon Gilbert from the CT. We can but speculate what the CT etc have as a story but the lady from CBRE did say last week something about stadium designs being shown shortly.

I can only assume that his internet amd mobile 3G signal have been down ever since this afternoon then as I'm sure he would have been on at some point to correct any misapprehensions that could have arisen.

Still, looks like I was right about the Blaze going back to Solihull then!

Early morning embargo maybe due to stock market being informed first as it may effect share prices of various groups involved. (Pure speculation on my part) hope it's the news we all want but won't hold my breath!

I know there is quite a bit of support for franchising on here, but a step too far moving an established football team from Sheffield to Solihull i'd have thought.

Still, they have got two teams there, so they were being a bit greedy really.

Been working in Aylesbury for the last few hours. Don't know if you've ever been here but they've not ever heard of 3 or 4G let alone got it. Finally got a Wifi hotspot. Jan is correct. Moto GP related. Sorry guys!

Robo, I think you owe everyone on this thread a Christmas present for getting our hopes up.

So what CWR and CT know that you don't? Or have they misinterpreted your tweet too? :thinking about:

TF smilng his fooking head off with plans of a stadium outside Coventry, trying to sell it as the cities club, will be my guess. Letting us know that the money streams will be important but failing to answers question on stadium ownership and rental costs to the club. For me that is not good or interesting news, just confirmation that the club that i have supported for 35 years is no longer mine to support..

However if its Sisu in talks to sell to someone who will bring it back to the city or indeed a deal brokered to bring the club back to the Ricoh all should be happy including myself,, somehow i feel a dissapointing day is about to happen.....

Yep. Plans for a shitty stadium with an insulting capacity, where the club simply pays through the nose to a new landlord - SISU.

Oh yes, and it won't be in Coventry which means nobody will want to go.

The news tomorrow will be a bullshit smokescreen. The aim has always been to get the Ricoh - they're just trying their hardest to make it look like they'll build a stadium.

And what town is that supposed to be in?

It's all bullshit anyway. SISU know that nobody will take their threats to build a new ground seriously until they provide plans and/or purchase land.

All a smokescreen for their dirty attempts to distress ACL.

It is a 250mil housing development with a Football ground in the middle.

Not sure if the Ricoh can bring that sort of development with it.

Or any other option they have in mind.
