The link just takes me to rubbish pages. Is this for real or a wind up?

Brilliant article. Summed up everything about the club. One day we will be back and for us 9000 it will be so much more worth it

Eventually found it and read through. Not much different to opinions on here really.

Is that Joy Seppala in the photo near the bottom of the article?

If so, perhaps SISU aren't so bad after all. She can take a 'hands on' approach with me anytime

Nah, he is a blonde Finnish-American.

He? No.
Even though the thinning hair is filled out with extensions and the blonde is "helped", no bloke would wear skirts as short and tight as Joy when in their fifties.
Joy must be female, but people say she has balls of steel. Maybe they are her joy balls.

First post but been following for years but appollogies for the negative tone....

All I can say is that he's hit the nail right on the head!

The problem we have and that you illuded to is the fact the players and owners seem to treat us like we are these naughty, selfish, spoilt school kids. I've been following the Ccfc for many years now and the sad thing is that I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy and there is absolutely no way i will take my 18 month old daugter to a game, as my dad did, just incase dhe falls in love, i just wont do that to her. During my 22 year support of Ccfc I have known nothing but heartache and ridicule and living in Kent have always been said butt of said joke but I have still worn my shirt with pride. I always say, when we've hit our newest low, that's it I'm done with them, but ten minutes later am checking GMK or Sky Blues Talk for that next glimmerodd hope.

I am currently in hospital with pneumonia and pleurisy but have been all over my phone all week hoping we get a manager to turn everything around but last night I realised that even if Fergie took the job, one man can not do it all, especially with this laughable fact he cannot bring in his own back room staff or even have his pick of a woefully weak squad dye to appearance fee's!! Unbelievable!!

And the sadest thing is that deap down, I almost long for the inevitable death of one of the greatest love's of my life. Sometime's the most humane thing to do (and it breaks my heart to say it but) is to cut off the life support and let this struggling club, still clinging on to it's few last breath's, die a dignified death!!

Very very sad!!! :-(

hahaha, meant she obviously!

Wouldn't mind knowing what she looks like to be fair. Heard she is quite short and her looks are a little deceiving ;)

To say you wouldn't wish supporting this club on your worse enemy is very very sad, mate. We might be in League One and in quite a dire situation but, my word, we've had some great times with this club. I was in Islington on Friday, waiting for all this so called Ridicule that others on here have been on about. I got nothing but kind words about our club. "Remember that brown kit, it was awful but I loved it" "I'll always remember the 87 cup final" "I used to love the banter at HR" all the was through to "I can't believe you're in League One" and a whole lot of sympathy.

Those who say they've had the piss taken out of them for supporting us should stop being so sensitive and realise that football fans mock eachother. Most of the country are gutted for us as a fanbase. I am proud that my 3 year old loves the sky blues and enjoys her season ticket with her dad. I'm proud that whenever I talk to other football fans around the country with my band, they always have a fond Cov memory.

I'm sad that we are where we are but to wish death on a your own club is unbelievable and just says you want out. It is a bad time for us, but other clubs have been here and made it through to the other side. Keep believing and hold on to those memories. My first match was 20 years ago and there is so much, even during the last 10 to hold on to.

We are Coventry. Believe in the future, hold on to the past, stick together in the present.
