Score Predictions, formations, possibility of cokeheads running on the pitch!?

Going for a 3-1 win to City and 2 dickheads going on the pitch!

Blackpool are on a good run and recently managed a draw away at Fulham, I think this will be another tight game and we will grind out a 1-0 win. Another goal for Vik.

Hope we can grind out a 1-0 win as stated above. We need to start getting wins now if we are to have any hope of getting that 6th spot.

All depends on fitness, a few looked dead on their feet yesterday. Fadz in for JCS maybe, Vik being out would be the hardest to replace.

I’d be tempted to put Maatsen and Eccles at WB regardless of fitness of Kane and Bidwell right now.

Maatsen against Sterling should be a good battle, if both are selected.

I quite liked Maatsen in the AM slot, gives the oppo something a bit different to think about and he offers the athleticism that Allen just doesn't.

Allen should play considering how well he played against these in the reverse fixture

Need people with some energy in their legs on Tuesday. Maatsen to play. Eccles is playing well, but looked shattered when he cam off. Fine if he can recover, assuming he hadn't picked up a niggle. Need a win, even if it's ugly.

Huge Game

This run of 8 games in 4 weeks makes or breaks the season for me. Every single one of them winnable.

Can we get to Mid March with play off hopes or will we be on the beach and all looking forward to the Summer window in a few weeks?

Godden's freak absence came at just the wrong time along with the failure to secure more quality in attacking midfield. Think we'll still have faint hopes after the next run of fixtures but the games after that will go very much like the last 4. Very much the 'nearly men' of the league, Forest are showing what might have been

I for one won’t be looking forward to the summer window if we finish in the play offs. Worried our top players will go

Why would we sell first season back in the Prem?

In all seriousness you’ve got to back the manager to be able to move the squad on regardless. If we lost Sheaf, Hamer, O’Hare and Györkeres he’d have £20m min to play with. That’s an entire first XI of any of those.

I’m more worried we don’t get any offers and can’t progress the squad TBH.

Tough game...our toughest in next batch. Keep Bowler quiet then we will and should win if we play anything like the way we have recently.

I'd change Rose for McFadzen purely to keep Madine in his pocket.
Even though Rose was good vs Southampton.

Tight win 2-1

Gyokores x2

If he’s fit I can’t see JCS being dropped. Only natural LCB and has been outstanding recently. Will be Rose to drop out for Fadz if all fit.

Think the plan was always for fadz to play Tuesday , whether that changes after the heroic performance yesterday of the back 3 will decide how they all are tomorrow
Bidwell, Maatson and Kane didn’t do full games so they should be okay
Allen and ohare and Hamer didn’t play full minutes so again should be okay
Vic and sheaf are the important ones see how they recover , they both covered an unbelievable amount of ground yesterday

godden no chance , he’s not back to specialist till next week

I'd start Waghorn. I know he's had some stick for his missed chances but he showed some really nice touches.

The link up with Gyökeres for that chance at the end was clever.

Either of the two could start deeper and push on while on the attack.

As above, I'd like to see Gyo and Waghorn both start up front as I bet they are 'gagging' to get back on the pitch to score, especially Wags.
2-0 City, 1 goal each for the front men.

How is Taveres getting on training with the first team? a couple of posters have mentioned that he is garbage, do you think he is likely to get a run out at some point this season?

I don't think the lad is garbage
He just doesn't stand out when you watch him play
But he scores goals so it's likely he'll get a chance to come on for the first team at some point in the next few weeks as the games come thick and fast
