Hamer has been a major part of this club and its upward momentum these last few years, and he was clearly attached to it. MR said as much after the Leicester game commenting that while we would miss Hamer, he would also miss us. We've got much more money for him than his detractors on here thought we could get so why the bitterness? As far as I'm concerned he leaves us with lots of great memories for which I am thankful, but as when any other player leaves, its a case of 'the king is dead, long live the king', and its now for new players to take over his mantle and progress the club further.
