Where are they going to get the funds from for development. I think Wasps' crowds will be more embarrassing than ours.

They may put money into further Ricoh developments in and around the ground.

A story from 2009? Exactly how could we have shown concern about that here unless we had a time machine?! So we've shot down that argument.

As for the value of the Arena - that's a complete red herring, we're talking about ACL here and we're told that's a sustainable and profitable business so there shouldn't really be any pressing need to sell surely?

Anyway, let's not dodge the real question here. Are you for franchising, or against franchising, or actually just don't care as long as it's not CCFC at risk of being moved*?

It's just that those who claimed the "moral high ground" with regard to Coventry to Northampton now seem to have ceded it with regard to Wasps to Coventry.

*And the bananas thing here, all of this significantly increases the risk of exactly that happening.

You stated the rugby club have never been in trouble before, im just stating they have and i couldn't remember a big deal being made then?

We all know that was ACL trying to brave it but everyone knew that was just posture. as for the wasps franchise, i dont agree with it however aslong as ccfc stays in the city then thats my priority.

I think all parties are to blame, but I think the council are being massive hypocrites. I think moving teams is wrong full stop, whether it is SISU doing it, Wasps or anybody else. It isn't only wrong when SISU do it but only business when other people do it.

Like I say, it would be different if it was Cov Rugby Club moving in wouldn't it?

Now who is the hypocrite Nick? Remember this comment, it was with reference to Coventry Blaze, formerly
known as Solihull Blaze?

If I remember it was a thread about Blaze and at the time loads of hardcore SISU haters were getting wet over the blaze games, I said I wasn't personally fussed about the Blaze being a franchise as I have no interest at all in Ice Hockey just found it ironic at the time Sixfields was very much dubbed as Franchise etc yet people were happy to go to Blaze games. Not being fussed isn't saying it is right though is it?

Franchise = Full Time Move doesn't it?

I am not sure what your point is? Had a busy evening?
