Can't remember who we played or the score all I remember was that Dowells Field was freezing that day

Lost 2-1 at Spurs. Should have taken the hint and supported someone else!

No official games during 1944 but my first match was 9 days after my 3rd birthday on 19 April 1947 and we beat Bury 3 - 1 at home. Got hooked and have never lost my love for CCFC despite what we have been through.

Is anyone's PIN number similar to a score in any way - even if an unlikely score?

Yep. Mine's 0304, but I just can't see us ever winning 4 3 away from home, so I might change it.

I was born in June, so no footie in the Summer months. However, the first game when the season started was when we were in Division 3 South. We lost away to Aldershit, 4-2. Other than that, the previous game (or the last match of the 52/53 season), we also lost, 2 - 1 away to Torquay. Ah well. Onwards and upwards!

Either '79 or '83. So, I'll say 1983?

Was that really only 07? For a 10 year old your football knowledge is a lot better than Dongo gives you credit for.

I was there. The Sky Blue faithful hummed the Coronation Street theme song all the way to the ground.

We had beaten the mighty Liverpool just the week before.

We were herded in by the police unfortunately.

One of the reasons I gave up on away games. All your freedoms taken away.

Is it the same now?

I was named after a CCFC player, player of the year that year as well. He went to Birmingham a few months later.

I was born at 3pm on a saturday. Just in time for the kick-off. But we lost at home to dirty Leeds 0-1. There was a crowd of 37,678 in HR :jawdrop:

Depends where you go. Some places are very welcoming. The clubs with a fair few idiots are normally not. But nothing what it used to be like. I haven't had to dodge bricks and similar for many years now

I was more peed off by the fact that we would turn up at a town or city and the police would be waiting for us. Didn't matter if it was just you and your mate, ALL the fans would be gathered together and herded and marched to the ground and you couldn't break rank.

Remember going to Stoke and being herded and we went past some shops and my brother broke rank and started to go over the road to the shop wanting to buy a drink and the police told him to get back in line. You couldn't do anything at all other than go to the ground. It was a case of be marched all the way to the ground and all the way back. No freedom at all to do anything different.

Used to hate it.
