Just watching FA Cup Rochdale v Bury and Bury have 6 ex City players in the side, Danny Pugh, Nathan Cameron,Reece Brown,Chris Hussey,

Chis Eagles (well almost) and Leon Clarke.

Would you swap any of them for a place in our team?

No. Other than Clarke, they were all useless. Warnock, Keogh, Christie and Westwood also playing in the other match on tv. Theres four ex City players i'd take back!

I'd have Leon Clarke back. Better option than Tudgay on the bench. His supposed attitude might be a problem though!

I'd take Clarke back, better than fortune and Tudgay.

Yeah but even if Clarke did come back, he'd be off 'for a bit more money'. Tudgay is a 7/10 no.10 on a good day, and I'd rather sacrifice scoring instinct for loyalty tbh.

Thought Chris Eagles was a pretty versatile player ? didn't he play for Celtic - sort of same level as us

Definitely versatile, but he strikes me as a player losing passion for the game. Hell of a right foot on him, though.

That's why I wouldn't take him back. The morale in the dressing room is one of the reasons we have benn so successful. Don't need players with his attitude trying to fck it all up.

Didn't Nathan Cameron win player of the season for Bury last year? I know he struggled when they came to the Ricoh, but I'd take him back when Ben Turner leaves in January.

Always have Leon Clarke back, the man is brilliant in this division.

Him and Armstrong up front.

Think we can do a lot better than Leon Clarke, in fact we will do a lot better than Leon Clarke. I have my doubts Tony Mowbray would touch him with a barge pole !

I think they were very physical and got away with a lot from the ref
A couple of times Peter Clarke appeared to obstruct in the box

I see Chris Eagles has managed just one start and 4 substitute appearances in 3 months at Bury. Dodged a bullet there I think.

Lack of form and injury according to reports.

I think we'll smash Bury when we play them again

When do we play them?

They are on a bad run of form at the moment, so round about now would be nice.

Not so sure about that. In the years we have been following City (including this season) we all know that the best thing for a team on a bad run is a fixture against City to change their fortunes

You're talking about old predictably inconsistent Coventry City, not new, invigorated, hardly ever beaten Coventry City.

I basically agree that things are going great. But the old habits do haunt us from time to time. Blackpool, Scunthorpe, Chesterfield, Sheff Utd were all going badly until they got a decent result against us.

On that basis very optimistic for Burton today !
