Care to list them over the years?

Not talking about just abbreviations on a name like Sheffers or Clarkey, or Doyler, talking about property nicknames. Little Sheff is therefore acceptable.

At the moment we have Duke and that's about it isn't it? I think one or two have called Rod McDonald, Iron Rod, but it's not really universally accepted or shouted out by fans I don't think.

So, over the years who have we had?

Spider - Chris Cattlin
Psycho - Stuart Pearce
Killer - Brian Kilcline
Iron Man - George Curtis
Bugsy - Brian Borrows

Who else have I missed?

My dad was quite fond of calling Julian Darby 'Donkey'. I don't know if that was just him though.

I know this will be contentious, but in the M&B stand around by where we all sat, Oggy was known as Flapper.

Lee Burge was called "useless c**t" by a few last year.

I believe he's called Burgey this season, the best thing he's dropped in his career is that name tag.

I always thought Huckerby’s nickname was shagger? Or was that just in the Telfer house

He didn’t play for Cov but one of the best nicknames has to be Fitz Hall. The six-foot-four QPR defender is known as “One Size”.
